At the be week 5 and 3 could be 8-0 could be 2-6 with the rest of the divsion on the road, with kc and denver coming up what is our final record

I still say we finsh 12-4. I think we lose to carolina at their house. very good team and if they stay haerlthy there only gonna get better.

thoughts.

Hard to finish 12-4 ... that leaves us with one loss allotment for the rest of the year. I don't see us going 7-1 over the next 8 weeks. Road games against the entire NFC East, Carolina, KC, and Denver can all lead to losses. 10-6 with one playoff win would be a great season.

I think the Cowboys can go 10-6. I think 11-5 can win the division. I think if somehow we can win this division anything is possible. Cowboys won’t lose a home playoff game.

I'm hoping for 11-5...and a huge "must win" game against the Gints. I think they will finish 11-5 as well, so that match up is huge...must win!

I predicted 11-5 at the start. If i had to guess the next 8 games based on what i have seen thus far, i am thinking likely 5-3 to end 10-6. i think we could go 6-2 and my original prediction would be right, but that seattle game has me thinking we can still blow one we should win.

I do think we beat the eagles and detroit. That thanksgiving game, wow it would be great to win that one. then we have the giants, that game could be the one that determines 11-5 vs 10-6. I think we beat KC, Carolina is a game that where we could stumble. We will win the rematch with the Commanders and we will end the season with a win over the rams.

So the 3 games that are in question to me are Denver, Giants, Carolina

Thats why the giants game is key, if we beat them i see us at 11-5 or better (depending on if we can pull off wins vs denver, carolina) with 5-1 vs division and sweep of NY. that should win the division and maybe a first round bye.

All 3 division opponents on the road. KC/DEN at home. Carolina on the road and STL at home. Hard to see only one loss out of all that. I will go with 10-6 at best, 9-7 at worst. Unlike last yr 9-7 probably wont get a playoff spot so 10-6 would be fine by me. Anything better and I will throw the biggest pre-playoff game party you have ever seen.

I didn't look this up, but didn't NE a few years back, lose their first 2 games, then won 14 in a row, and then on to win the SB?

But we do have a tough 2nd half schedule. I see us going 5-3, with one of the losses being another 'we should have won' games.

I'll settle for a 5-3 second half - to finish 10-6. 12-4 just doesn't seem realistic; I mean to sweep the NFC East opponents on the road is a stretch.

I tire of all the Carolina love. Really, they have relied on heroics from Steve Smith all year to beat very average teams. They lost to New Orleans and Miami and barely beat both Green Bay and Detroit. They will lose to Tampa this weekend. Their one quality win was against New England where I give them props. Average defense, average running game == not a playoff threat, IMHO.

We could go 12-4 but that will mean a 7-1 finish and I'm thinking 6-2. That lands us an 11-5 record, the NFC east title and a tie-breaker with the NFC South champ for a first round bye. Seattle will get HFA throughout hte playoffs because they have six easy wins on their schedule (11 wins) and could win one of NYG, Philly, or Indy for a 11-5/12-4 record. They own the tie breaker over us thank to us shooting ourselves in the foot.

There is no reason from a talent stand point that Dallas could not go 12-4. However, my biggest knock on Dallas is consistency.

Granted this is a way better team than the two previous years under Big Bill, but Dallas has not won more than two games in a row since the 2003 season in which they won five in a row.

Five times since the 5 game winning streak in 2003 Dallas has managed to win two games in a row, but not once three in a row.

This year so far Dallas has Win, Loss, Win, Loss, Win, Win, Loss, and Win. For Dallas to move up into the next level of teams that can contend for the Superbowl Dallas will have to become a consistent team capable of reeling off multiple wins in a row.

We shall see. I certainly think they are capable of it, but will they?

I'm sticking with 10-6. 5-3 withour remaining schedule seems very doable, but not far fetched. Theres not really an easy game on our schedule besides Detroit.

I agree. I do think if the Defense shows up, like they have been, we can win every game we have on our schedule. But the question has to be WILL WE.

Will the offense we saw against the Eagles and Cardinals show up?

Will the Defense keep performing at the pace they are now?

With a D like we've had the past 4-5 games, there is no question we will have a chance to win them all. Can we do it? That remains to be seen.....
