Clearly this thread is a train wreck.

It was a valiant effort at humor Kilyin, alas sarcasm doesn't come across to some people in print.

If no one gets it, then why start it? Your humor = fail.

Fraid I don't follow sir. Perhaps you could be more concise in your assessment.

Don't want to talk football (Brett Favre)? Plenty of other threads to post your drivel in.

I guess you guys didn't read this in the "Woodson picks Bucs to win" thread.

With Brett Favre, this team wouldn't have zero heart, or a ton of injuries (Favre would provide inspiration to our gutless, heartless team to play through injuries, since he'd be doing it), coaching wouldn't matter because he's Brett Favre and he can draw plays up in the dirt if necessary. Brett Favre's leadership and attitude would elevate both the offense and the defense. Special teams wouldn't matter because Brett Favre will throw a touchdown on 4th and 17.

Oh please get over your victimized fan self. So Woodson picks the BUCS to win. Let's not even play Sunday, we should forfeit. Woodson has been wrong with his pics as well, and I wouldn't be surprised if he had picked Green Bay or the Eagles to beat us earlier this season.

We all have passionately expressed our disappointement and also pointed out the shortcomings of our team but now is not the time to do it, before the onset of upcoming game.

In fact you ought to stop it with your gutless and heartless crap because at this juncture you are reducing yourself down to a troll. Favre is in the twilight of his career and Romo is in the midst of his career and off to an accomplished start.

So sorry that Romo is not robo-quarterback.

Wow the serious responses in the post are even funnier than the OP.

You guys seriously need to work on the sarcasm meter.

Favre would play. Absolutely.

Favre and his streak was above any and every priority team-wise.
He would have wheeled himself under center to take the snap JUST SO the streak wouldnt be broken.

Favre is a closet-diva.

Man, try to be realistic okay. We actually had a chance to get Brett Favre (and it wouldn't have cost a 1st, 3rd, and a 6th - er, well maybe Jerruh would've offered that).

Some of you guys are living in fantasy land.

Besides, Adrian Peterson is no Brett Favre.

You said it.

Wasn't TO quoted as saying he'd like to play for Brett Favre?

Well there you go.

With Brett Favre, TO wouldn't be so underutilized. Being the saavy veteran that he is, Brett Favre would find a way to get TO the ball without Garrett or Jerry pressuring him to do so.

If this thread is a failure, it's because I didn't make Rack's ignore list. Although, I guess seats are limited.

Brett Favre is a very exciting quarterback to watch. He's exciting because he's just as likely to slip a DE tackle, scramble around, and launch a 45 yard TD pass as he is to do the same thing only throw a pick-6.

I'll be honest with you... I'd rather have Favre than Johnson. But to say that this team should have spent the past summer (when they had a healthy Romo) out there pursuing Brett Favre is patently absurd. Not to mention the fact that there's no way GB would have dealt him to us.

I disagree wholeheartedly. There is nothing closeted about Brett Favre's diva-ishness. :D
