The Rams are calling it a "second interview," even though Garrett already had his finalist interview in L.A. and Devaney said Thursday that "interviews are done." Me? Garrett. I would never be angry at someone who is adamant for Shanahan though. Just admitting to my own agenda. I've wanted him as our HC since the early 1990's. I see no reason to change my mind now. I wish I had Jerry's ear at VR, but I don't.

I read multiple times, How Jerry likes to make head coaching announcements and take away from the superbowl or big playoff games

The fan reaction has been so overwhelmingly negative, I wouldn't be surprised if the owner gets cold feet at the last second and tells the GM to look elsewhere.

All I gotta say is Garrett is in for a rude awakening. He came with an amazing amount of Goodwill in Dallas because of his "Glory Days" ties and best buddies with Moose and Troy. Your average Rams fan couldn't give two flips about either.
