So...Is Woodson (Packers) playing on Thursday?

When he played with Oakland he had turf toe almost the whole season and put up career high numbers of 79 tackles 4 INTs and 3 FF. He was doubtful to play but I think the Pack organization is just saying that to mix things up. KGB should also be playing however that is also unofficial. They both said they feel great and are good enough to play.

Do you have links for the player quotes? I haven't heard that yet. I've been surprised this week that Woodson's not a bigger topic, b/c his absence would have a huge impact on this game.

Be wary of a CB with injury posting career numbers for being thrown at.

This is a win-win scenario. If he tries to man-up and jam TO with a hurt toe, it's money.

If he doesn't play, and their backup tries to man-up and jam TO, it's money.

Woodson wouldnt play TO. Healthy or not.
TO moves around quite a bit. He plays from every position, including out of the backfield.

Do you guys seriously man up your CBs on every single play, regardless of where a player is located?

If so, this should be a cake walk.

I did hear someone(reporter) say Woodson said he had whatever he has now, before in Oak. Someone also posted he was at a basketball game the other day and said he didn't have turf toe. Here's a link to the packers site.

Well, good that you can verify it was on the radio, then. The quotes I've seen from him were all baiscaly 'we'll see.' I chalkk what Packer fans say they heard him say at a basketball game up to delusional hearsay until it can be verified.

I dont have the quotes on Woodson and KGB wanting to play. It was posted in one of the Packer Forums but acouple of them said that Woodson was spotted at a basketball game and when people asked him if he could play he just said that he wanted to. Nick Barnett confirmed that he practiced but it was limited. Its in his interview at Packers.com

They do for the most part. I do know that TO lines up in the backfield and the Packers said they have a way to help stop it in one of MMs interviews but they didnt say how. Woodson will be on Crayton all day regardless of where TO will be.

Sounds as if he is still not 100%. Sorry for him and the Pack but I'll take whatever help we get that's legit.

I have a feeling we'll see Woodson out there on Thursday evening no matter what the Green Bay area media may be saying now.

Exactly. That sounds like a cowardly move to me.(Tho I wouldnt be surprised if T-Glenn ends up doing that somewhere down the line ;) )

I was watching the Milwaukee Bucks/Dallas Mavericks game Saturday night and Charles Woodson was in attendance. They interviewed him briefly and he stated that he did not have turf toe, and that he would be playing in Thursdays game.

Now I don't take that as proof positive on if he will actually play, but I saw what I saw, so to say.

Ah. That's different if he said it on camera and a Cowboy fan hear him.
That's more than wishful thinking, then. For the record, I hope he does play.
