That both the Eagles and Giants appear ahead of the Cowboys and we are slightly ahead of the Redksins? I think so. WE will see what the draft will yield but I am not sure we will leap frog over those two. Thoughts?

I think they will end up with Braylon Edwards by draft day.

Regardless of how this weekend turns out, questions are going to remain about where the Cowboys stand. I think those questions are legitimate and will remain legitimate well into December unless we collapse before then. We'll see.

No its not.

The only thing those two have better is a coaching staff.

Talent wise we match up great with the entire league.

If we had a decent head coach we would be the team to beat.

How are the Cowboys so bad? Are you bashing the coaches cause its the trendy thing to do? are you factoring the injuries to our team? are you afraid the chemistry is not there. I got news for you, the Giants and Eagles didnt do anything spectacular as well.

Are we really behind the Cardinals as well, i know healthy, id pit this team against them again?

What do you see that the Giants and Eagles have done and will do and what magic they can pull out to trump Dallas?

Still way too earlier for this talk. Nobody knows how this division is going to be, it's up to us to come out and handle our business and play up to the talent and capabilities that this team has.

I am not bashing anyone. Just giving my opinion.

1. The team that quit in that 44-6 is mostly intact. That is a hard mental picture to erase (at least for me)
2. Wade is still head coach
3. Eagles made good moves to replenish o-line. They peak in december where we fade. Didn't they play in the NFC Championship last year???
4. Giants have a formidable d-line.
5. I fear this is the year Flozell shows his age
6. I am not saying they are 5-11 bad. I think they are average or slightly above.

I think if every team in the NFC east plays to their potential Cowboys and Giants are pretty even...(if they get the WR ).....the Eagles ...then Commanders

That would be a major problem for us.:(

What IF the Eagles & Giants end up with Bolden and Edwards, either one to either team, or worse yet, which the Bengals say they will not trade Chad Johnson. Say he and the Commanders end up in the mix. and each of those teams end up with one of those 3 WR's.

Does that put Dallas that far behind in WR talent. Is the pressure then on to use a 2nd rounder for a WR, or trade up to get one in the 1st?

Just some wild thoughts that will probably never happen.

Was there anyone on this board or any other that predicted the cardinals would be in the SB?

As soon as it is written in history, it will be done. Until then who knows.

Going into last season we appeared to be ahead of them all and things didn't exactly go as hoped... that's why they play the games.

All teams suffer blow-outs. If they go the month of sept and give up an average of 44 points to the other team, then I will begin to worry.

2. Wade is still head coach

True dat!!

3. Eagles made good moves to replenish o-line. They peak in december where we fade. Didn't they play in the NFC Championship last year???

What happened last year has little bearing on the next year.

4. Giants have a formidable d-line.

We had a formidable team until the injury bug ate out lunch.

5. I fear this is the year Flozell shows his age

Then we better take a guard and davis get ready for tackle.

6. I am not saying they are 5-11 bad. I think they are average or slightly above.

I see warts as well. But the beauty of this game it the ball is pointy at both ends and bounces funny for everyone.

It sure looked like red when I clicked on it.

It's a new season, basing things strictly off of last season is stupid. Nobody saw the Cards making the Super Bowl, you have to play the game.

1. Blowouts occur, but they quit, remember?? That is a core problem.
2. Agreed
3. I think you are incorrect. The Eagles have consistently finished strong while we have floundered in December since , oh 1997. Look at the 2009 schedule.
4. 2007 may turn out to be a fluke. I don't buy this " Dallas has the most talent in the NFL"
5. We need OL help and fast!

Thanks for playing. ;)

Our everyone has injuries and we are no exception, so our OL help is the same as everyone elses so thats out.

I think every team floundered except the Steelers, so whats that proving?

You dont have to buy we have the must talent in fact no one talking about any team can predict such and such has the most talent because they cant predict depth and they cant predict how the seasons are going to go and whats going to happen. Did the Eagles do worse than us because Reid has problems with his kids and McNabb will never be the favorite QB in Philly?

Our biggest problem wasnt wade, its getting old. Special Teams and Brian Stewart were no help, both of those positions have been upgraded, so im feeling better than last year.

How wil the Giants defense react to the new guy? Are they considered better just because they have a new coach? Tell me how thats going to happen.

Once Brandon Jacobs goes down and misses some games for the Giants will they be the same running team as last year?

How about if Diehl goes down again?
You can play that game with every team? doesnt make them better than the Cowboys at any level.

Same with the Eagles.

Heres a thought, what if Zorn turns it around in Washington with the qb they took last year? What if he is the new Miami this year?

Heres your answer, come the new year, everyone is 0-0. Predict the seasons record come december 31.
