So Jerra forgives Dunbar and thinks Free is, like, "amazing" and says Ratliff is a competitor

Sigh.

In his right mind, Jerra would not contradict Garrett. When Garrett said putting the ball on the ground was inexcusable, ah cheered. When he shrugged at Free's latest performance ah cheered. Then Jerra said he totally forgave Dunbar week ago and said Free was amazing this past game I thought senility had truly come to Jerra.

Now, as to the ever-healing Ratliff, that player is a "competitor" in Jerra's words. No. Rat (a great nickname) is not a competitor. He's a slacker. So is Spencer.

I know, contracts and salary caps. We cant get rid of the Rat and the Spence, two malingerers and pouty players. Too bad.

But, Jerra, you need to take a stand and get rid of these two aging misfits.
Bring in the younger players. It's not like we're heading to the Super Bowl. I will take a young, even more underachieving team than one that goes 8-8 with aging, discontented players who feel they are owed a living while not playing.

I will take a rebuilding team that offers hope and not eternal rehab.

God save us from jerra. In the artical about the Rat, jerra seems almost obsequious or however you spell it.

Come on now. You are taking what JJ said in Dec 2012 and applying to current situation with Rat?!

Bring in younger players for Spencer? The guy is only 29. So now he is past his prime?

Not so much past his prime as past his usefulness. He had a good year last year after many years of subpar performances but is . . . ailing.

Mr. Snarkopus strikes again!

You can't do everything at once. (Where would you put it?) Ratliff and Spencer will be probably be gone next year. Jerry likes to talk. Much ado about not much....

How did Spencer get lumped in with Ratliff? Spencer has been playing with a franchise tag and I haven't heard a wimper from him about it. He is hurt and will most likely be ready game one. Can't compare him with Ratliff who is becoming a cancer.

A canker right now. Maybe a cancer tomorrow. Maybe the Rat is just lazy.

So, Jerry thinks Free's performance was "amazing" and ex-scout Bryan Broaddus believes it was anything but.
H-m-m, wonder who had it right and who didn't . . . okay, don't tell me now -- think I can figure it out for myself!
