There are so many good wideouts out there, and more will be available by the end of the month. If we go into the draft without getting a new future #1 receiver for romo, we're just wrong.

Roy Williams
Javon Walker
Bryant Johnson
Chad Johnson

I don't know how much of the trade rumors involving some of them are just speculation, but one of these guys will probably be available. Bryant Johnson is definitely available.

Cornerback is going to be something obviously more expensive to fix in free agency. It's probably something we want to use one of our first round draft picks on.

We desperately need to fix that secondary.

he doesn't belong in the same category as the other 3 you listed

Despite his age and injuries Javon Walker has only played in 6 seasons. 5 if you dont count when he was injured for the entire season. Yes you got to worry about the injuries, but you're not going to break the bank getting this guy.

Same thing with bryant johnson who is only 26.

Maybe I was too liberal with using young

Id like owens, walker, johnson. Then eventually walker johnson and someone else.

i know he had trouble staying healthy this past year , but man i just think that d.j hackett is the best value at wr. he's a perfect 2 to owens , 26yrs old 4th year UFA . he was on his way to putting up a monster second half if he didnt re-injure his ankle (the dreaded high ankle spain).

agree totally on the berrian over bryant johnson switch . johnson has awful hands and never ever steps up when boldin or fitz sit out . matter of fact jerheme urban beat him out last year down the stretch.

I don't consider this a great group of receivers. Chad Johnson is not getting traded. Roy Williams will take a 1st round pick and more most likely. Walker if he is healthy. Bryant Johnson- no thanks. It is time to draft a young receiver and we need to use one of our 1st picks. We are looking for a 3rd cornerback which should not be taken with a 1st round pick. We have tostart drafting offense and not in the 4th and 5th round. T.O. is getting older and Glenn is most likely gone.
Hurd and Austin in my opionion will never be big time.

Javon Walker is always hurt (not to mention the fact he isn't young), Bryant Johnson isn't any good, Chad would cost us a fortune and that's IF the Bengals actually trade him (doubtful), and Roy Williams will also cost at least a 2nd round pick. I doubt any will draw any real interest from the Cowboys with the possible exception of Roy Williams. It would make more sense to go after a young receiver that will actually be available like Berrian.

I disagree.

We should spend a first round pick to replace Henry not draft one later looking to replace Reeves. His replacement should be drafted in the 3rd thru 5th round.

Really funny list since Cincy just made it clear, once more, that Johnson is not on the market and that they're not going to trade him.

And then the kid in Arizona doesn't seem like that great a pick up to me and then Walker really isn't that young.

Bryant Johnson is better than a lot of people know, I wouldn't mind him at all as a #2.

It's hard to crack the top two when you're playing behind Fitz and Boldin (and hard to get press when you're in Arizona), but every time one of them has gotten hurt, he's produced very well in their place. He's was also drafted 17th overall the year he came out, so he had talent coming out of college. Not to mention he's a big guy with deceptive speed. Not to mention that at only 5 years in the league, he's still young enough without being green.

I'd actually be very happy if we brought him in.

Roy Williams has proven himself as a top WR and that is despite being in Detroit and having Harrington as his QB his first two years. the only concern there is nagging injuries; but outside of that he is probably better then any one you can draft this year and he is PROVEN. think about it: #22 for Roy Williams and we do not have to worry about WR for several years.
