Or are we only encouraged when it goes the other way?

The fact that we found a way to hold off the Colts is a good thing.
Blowing the lead tells us we still have plenty to work on, and obviously we can't count on having 4 INTs to win games, but overall it was a positive game.

Ernie is right when he says we can't count on 4 INTs, to be sure. On the other hand, we're not going to face Manning and his pinpoint passes every week either. I mean, yeah, he made mistakes but he also threw some passes that were dead perfect as well.
This is a tale of two season for me. The first 8 games and the last 8 games. In the new season, we are 3-1 with a lose that probably should have been a win against the Champions. We were 1-7 in the first 8 games. In the last 4 games, we have trippled our win total from the first 8 games. Hell yes we should be positive.
When you come back against a good team it only gives you confidence that you can come back again--which is exactly what happened.ChldsPlay;3733838 said:I'm not discouraged by the Colts game, they won. I wasn't encouraged by the Saints game, they lost.
