We are up 13-0 with 5 minutes left in the 4th quarter. We are at the door and all we need to do is bash it in. We have them hogtied, squirming on the ground. We have our foot firmly planted on their throat.

All we have to do is stop them on 4th and 2 and the game is ours.

And we don't.

No problem. 3 plays later we have them where we want them. 4th and 15. Simple. Stop them here and the game is ours.

And we can't. Touchdown.

No problem. We're still up by 6. Just run the clock and get outa here with a win. The game is ours.

We go 3 and out.

No problem. Our defense won't allow them to score again. Just stop them one more time and we win.

But we won't.

One play. One play and it's, "TOUCHDOWN WASHINGTON Commanders"!

Yet the game is nowhere near over. We have plenty of time. We've been here before. Against this team, at home, we can't lose.

We gain 6 yards on 1st down. Then throw the ball twice. Both incomplete...

4th down. We need this one. We throw the ball and it is complete...but short of the 1st.

That's ok because we've been here before. We can win it. We stop them and get the ball back.

Bledsoe will lead us into field goal range. He has the arm to do it. We have the weapons to help him. His arm hasn't been tested. The dink and dunk offense we played all game means his arm is still fresh. We can get into field go range. Right?

NO. We can't. We don't. We won't. We lose. We lose?

all i can say is when its 4th and 5 don't complete a pass for 3 yds.........thats what lost it , also when they no huddled before the 2 minute warning only to throw a rushed passed, they had time. this is why we NEED a mobile qb, "tinman" bledsoe is to chicken***** to scramble. we need to really be ashamed by giving the Commanders that gift. what a way to ruin my week...

This is pure, refined, cold-filtered crap. Did you miss the naked bootleg in the first half with Bledsoe leading head first? Blaming Bledsoe for thinking Terry Glenn could do better with the football than he himself could is ridiculous. Now if you want to blame him for not creating or using his legs to buy time, that's another thing, but don't blame him for not scrambling when Glenn is open and has a chance.

This is Bledsoe, dude. I don't want him to scramble.

I want him to do what he did, which is not make any mistakes. We didn't use him the way he needs to be used. Bledsoe is not a dink and dunk quarterback. He has too big of an arm for that.

Mobile quarterbacks are overrated, anyway.

hey if it 3rd or 4th down and nobody is open please at least make an effort to run for the first down instead of throwing it away. on one play, i saw tinman have a huge open whole in the middle while he was in the pocket. dude threw it away. bledsoe has got to go......ROMO!

We didn't lose because of Bledsoe. We lost because our offensive unit, as a whole, didn't score TDs in the Redzone. We had more then enough opportunities to close that game out. We didn't do that. I think it's a sign of our youth more then anything.

From Pop Warner on up, your always told to play 60 minutes. It's probably the single thing you will hear most in all your football years.

Last night, we didn't do that. Simple as that IMO.
