So, were you guys nervous when Romo and Proctor fumbled the first exchange?

I thought it would be a very long night when they fumbled the exchange on the very first play. Not sure who's fault it was, but luckily that wasn't an issue the entire game.

I was watching the game with a few friends and was telling them that Procter has a pretty bright future. I told them to keep a close eye on him and they might be impressed.

The flogging began almost immediately. LOL

I had a bad dream about Andre Gurode.

Why the heck am I dreaming about Andre Gurode?

I believe it was Proctor's fault it looked like the ball hit his own left inside thigh.

After that play, I thought Proctor played a very solid game against a couple very good DT's.

I'm not anywhere near as concerned about our depth on the interior of the line as I was a week ago.

Props to Proctor.

It was NOT outstanding. It was OK. He is a backup center and no more. Kris Jenkins and company owned him all too often.

As usual burmagrinch you make a generalization about the entire affair based on a couple negative plays and several where a stalemate existed.

This offense put up over 400 yards of offense on a decent defense... we had a 100 yard rusher and a passer make what? 42 attempts, without giving up a sack. The line calls were good and Proctor performed well overall.

Remember the guys on the other team are paid professionals also.

I admit I was. I thought it meant his thumb was worse than I hoped. In the pre-game warm ups he was clearly keeping his thumb away when he caught the tosses back to him. I was concerned.

O.K. maybe not outstanding. How about "OUTSTANDING" for a guy starting his first game ever at center. You know, the position that makes all the protection calls.

As to being owned, I would look at that game again if I was you. A bad snap, a bull s**t holding call and two other plays that I can think of is not being owned.

I will say it again, He had an outstanding game. Much better then I anticipated.

Better then expected is NOT OUTSTANDING. The Carolinas two DTs and MLB all had their second best games of the season stat wise. Of course we cannot blame Proctor for all that but he certainly contributed.

No, because the ES fans say we're the luckiest team in existence, which just proves to me that we're are God's team. ;) God scooped that ball up and put it into cowboy's hands. *G*

Well, no because NFLN didn't SHOW THE PLAY. They were too busy focusing on Crayton first.

But once I saw Romo make a few throws, I was pretty sure that he was going to be able to throw the ball with that thumb.

Barber trucked them all day long and the OL allowed ZERO sacks. C'mon.

Yeah, even saying it was "OK" is being optimistic. He does get the excuse of being a backup center, but it was not a good game by any stretch of the imagination. He got abused for a good while, but seemed to settle down some late in the game.

For his first career start at center- remember, he never played center before- he did about as good as one could reasonably hope. BUT that does not mean he can take Gurodes place in the playoffs. He is not good enough. Maybe in a few years with more experience he could- MAYBE. but not now or anytime soon.

Yep, I was nervous until I saw how bad of a snap it was by Proctor.
