So what to do with Barber?

What do we do with this guy? Obviously Jones is the guy now and choice is a better backup. I know he's slow but he can't even break tackles anymore, what do you guys think we're going to do with him in minny?

Lets not be so quick to jump on the guy. He's coming off some good performances, but it's clear that Felix is and should be our guy moving foward.

That being said, Barber still needs to be involved. He's a very good back, and I dont think Felix needs 30 touches either.

Well....maybe you just said it yourself and we saw tonight what to do with him....however, we don't know if his knee was acting up at this point.

It's a quandry that the coaching staff has to consider....maybe have him in there on passing plays to block?

Ummm...yep. TC had some good games when both MBIII and JF were out last year against REALLY good defenses....Pittsburgh and Baltimore were two of them. He also brings more speed and doesn't "bounce" around as much.

I shifted when he slowed down a step and quit breaking tackles. In other words, I would rather the guys who produce more yards stay on the field at RB.

I didn't say to jettison him RIGHT NOW. Of course he stays on the team.

I'd be fine if he went back to what he was under BP. BP had it right with him.

However, many franchises also stick with guys too long out of loyalty to the detriment of the team....some fans are this way as well.

Man.. this board really hates Barber. He hasn't been as good as in 2007, but he's still a good back. Why do you all want him out of here?

We are lucky to have 3 really good back.
