I don't think anyone ever said any of those things meant we would lose, but it's nice to see chicken littles are not alone in their need to squeel "I told you so!"

you know, if its during the regular season i can understand but over reaction to preseason is plain newbish to me.

You know? I am SICK of posters on this board whining and complaining about what we did wrong, how bad we were in some areas, etc, etc.

We responded OUTSTANDINGLY from our playoff meltdown last year. Give it a rest.

It depends on what the over reaction is about. If we lose the way Washington did.....I would over react.

If we lost a key contributor.....Most would over react.

People need to vent somewhere. I try to talk to my wife about the Cowboys and she says, "That's nice Dear."

People need folks to talk to about their team. Especially those of us outside the Dallas area. Everyone views things differently. You have glass half-full people....glass half-empty people...and people that complain about the size of the glass.

Im right here enjoying a big Cowboys win.we looked really good today. could have scored 40 if not for these refs.they could not stop us. but we have got to beat philly at home next week. they have beaten us 2 years in a row at Texas Stadium.GO COWBOYS.

To be fair, one good game against a mediocre team doesn't mean that we don't have problems that need to be worked out.

To be fair, one good game against a mediocre team doesn't mean that we don't have problems that need to be worked out.

So now Cleveland is mediocre? Some posters here (not you necessarily) were crowning the Brownies. You would think they had the greatest offense ever assembled. Anything to put a negative spin on the Cowboys chances.

It was a good start to the season; there were a few jitters (like penalties) early on, but it settled down. It would have been more impressive with a few sacks or a stronger pass rush, and a few good-sized runs by Lewis did leave me scratching my head at times.

But all in all, for the buildup and being the first regular season game, it was nothing to downplay. The team won't be perfect. We fans have to come to terms with that.
