This is what im saying but no one is really listening.theogt;2218836 said:Why not just IR Stanback and keep Jefferson and Amendola as 5th and 6th receivers? Austin and Hurd will both be back in a few weeks. Hurd was walking without a limp, so I can't imagine it being too severe.
Crayton, Hurd, and Austin were all low picks or undrafted and nobody seemed to mind them as number 3-6 options in their rookie seasons.

Any time I've seen a high ankle sprain, even minor ones, the guy couldn't walk off the field, much less without even a sign of a limp. Obviously not a medical opinion, but I'd be surprised if he's out the usual 4-6 weeks.Woods;2218856 said:The guess on Hurd is that it may be a high ankle sprain. Let's hope not . . . . because if that's the case, he could be out for at least a month.
I do think Jefferson has the advantage over Amendola right now. But I still think that IF Hurd has a high ankle sprain, we'll be looking to add a veteran WR one way or another, and we'll end up putting Stanback on IR.

Since the x-ray was inconclusive, how do they know it's a high ankle sprain?theogt;2218862 said:Any time I've seen a high ankle sprain, even minor ones, the guy couldn't walk off the field, much less without even a sign of a limp.
