I would only remove one song if it were my list. My sister used to play that damn total eclipse song OVER AND OVER AND OVER until I wanted to break the damn thing. :bang2:

:laugh1:

I agree with Brain that I like pretty much every band on that list but different songs.

And Stevie "Guitar" Miller is/was great

I dont know if this qualifies for soft rock but i just downloaded the album "urban hymns" by The Verve and i cant get enough of it. Its classified as industrial whatever that is, but its my new favorite.

Again i dont know if its soft rock but its real mellowed out. The Rolling People and Another Velvet Morning are real good songs from that album.

You must've looked at one of my WMP playlist...

I love soft rock and I've got several 80s compilation CDs with alot of that music on it.

Paul Young - Every time you go away
Bad English - When I see you Smile
Reo Speedwagon - Keep on Loving You

I love Chicago. They've got several songs I like. Most of them when they were lead by Peter Cetera. "Hard Habit to Break" "Will you still love me?"

Seriously, I have a lot of that music on my 'puter that's on your list. Hmmm...now I know what I'll be listening to today. :)

It's a good song but when you hear it over and over it makes you hate it and since she was the oldest we couldn't do anything too stop the torture. :D

Sketchy indeed. However, there are a few choice cuts there: In Your Eyes (although Gabriel has much better stuff); Your Song (Elton John is one hell of a musician); In The Air Tonight (no way is this 'soft rock'), Against All Odds (very much soft rock, but a real guilty pleasure. I have no idea why I like this song so much, but there's nothing like singing along to it in the car.)

That's a lot of good songs there.

Listened to this one today on the way to work on Sirius.

You can hear all of these pretty regularly on different Sirius stations.

To me, "soft rock" = Not Rock.

It's just soft. Doesn't mean it's bad. Just shouldn't be associated with Rock.
