really? What do these folks see in this guy that we dont? These boise folks really have a lot of faith in him.
I want to say that just because his work was good in college doesn't mean he will translate well in the NFL (evidence abounds for that). But is there something I am missing?

I mean sure it would be great if we can find our solid backup QB in this guy don't get me wrong, the sooner the better. But just sayin... I don't know what do you all think about all this hype coming from a backup QB that's never played a down in the NFL regular season? Not trying to start arguments here just wondering. I am all ears. Is it just folks trying to magically, group conscious stuff, make things happen for this cat or is it just empty hope coming from a hopeless season?

For a losing team...the backup qb is always the favorite guy on the team.

The Cowboys won't put him in. No ways! If he succeeds it will make our FO and coaches look bad. Everyone will be asking why didn't we put him in earlier.

The guy has been in the league for 4 years. Nobody has given him a shot. Probably because he isn't good enough.

Or it could be our front office working a conspiracy!!!!

Who would have thought six months ago that on the Saturday before Christmas, the hottest take on this board would be that Kellen Moore should start.

JG has done a swell job hasn't he? ;)

More people than Garrett have their hands bloody in this mess. But it makes no sense to blame those that cannot be fired, like Jerry Jones, Stephen Jones and Wade Wilson. So Garrett it is.

That's true, but it's his lousy offense, and he's the one too stubborn to change it. He's weak and goes for field goals instead of TD's. If he would give in I would be actually like him more, I think. He's talks about holding people accountable, yet he never, never says that one was on me!

Ok, WHOOOO, I feel better now. Sorry Alex

Don't forget the inability to throw a spiral! An NFL QB that can't throw a spiral???

As I recall, he even had to be taught how to take a snap from under center. And yet he was the chosen one. Those Johnny Walker Blue goggles Jerry wears when he evaluates players are crazy strong!

And Wade Wilson taught him both things.

That is uh some uh damn good QB coachin' right there.

I'd like to see Moore play these last few games. It's foolish to go into the offseason not knowing if this guy can play in real NFL games. We know what we have in Cassel already, so why not find out what we have in Moore?

You play to win the game or some such nonsense.

But never mind the contradiction that if that is the case, why is he a twisted ankle from a bad QB away from being the starter.

I don't care to see him, mainly because I have a feeling we will all be a lot more depressed afterwards.

I'm a Notre Dame homer and I'm still convinced Brady Quinn will be a hall of fame quarterback. I think we are both delusional fans..

Letting him play would also give us a somewhat better gauge on what to do with our offseason needs at QB. Nothing like planning ahead.

Tiny, rag-armed QB who ran a college offense that didn't require progressive reads and doesn't work against NFL caliber defensive players.

I'll just be happy if he doesn't have the "deer in the headlights" look under pressure. We have a chance to get a good read on the kid over the next 3 weeks, if we don't use it we're nuts......but then again.....
No better time nor place than right here right now to put the kid in and see what his future potential is.

The only thing I don't look forward to with this is, if Kellen Moore does play well if he gets a shot, his cult will come out of the woodwork. Last thing I want is a bunch of Boise State fanboys suddenly rushing Cowboys' message boards screaming for him to start.

I think changing it up is playing to win. Dez Bryant's monkey could probably throw for more third down conversions than Cassel. You're probably correct about Moore laying an egg. I just think knowing sooner, rather than later, is better and more beneficial to the team's offseason plans.
