Thinking back on the game, a few things perhaps not so obvious stood out to me
1.after seeing the M*A*S*H unit that was the Giants after the game, i have to believe both sides of the ball for the Cowboys were extremely physical.
There were times late in the game where the giants defense just looked like they did not want any more! I have always admired how physical a team the Giants were, but we "out physicalled" them

2. Eli Manning might be coming of age. He did not have that screwed up petulant look much during the game it seemed. He took the challenge of losing his number one running back such as it was and did what he could.

3. Plexico Burris--5 million dollar body, 5 cent brain. Going back to his Michigan State days and what he did against Michigan made me beleive this guy could be all world in the NFL but something just aint there all the time.

4. If the Giants would spend more time watching film instead of inventing new dances, maybe they would cover the TE down the middle! It seemed every guy had his own version the past few years whether is was rocking a baby or elaborate bowing to crowd or the hated jump shot--sheesh!

5. Spencer did alright. He has come a long ways from the pre season game and there were a few times where i thought to myself " who was that flashing on the screen--was it Ware" only to see number 93.
I beleive he was responsible for the hit on the knee that put the RB out of the game after 6 carries even though he was being blocked at the time and he nailed Manning and caused the injury to the shoulder that could put him out for a month. (The RB will remain nameless until he actually proves something in the league before flapping his mouth about what he is going to do)

6. Roy Will is Roy Will. Oh sorry, that was obvious. Could he become a 1 down safety and on obvious passing downs we go with Hamlin and Watkins? What was Roy trying to prove running head first into a 320 lb offensive guard on a blitz? Did he not see the guard? Enough bagging on Roy--everyone is taking a shot these days

7. I have to admit that I fell into the trap of beleiving Mr Fix it would wave his magic wand and our defense would instantly become Doomsday 4 or 5 or what ever version we are on. I say give Wade time. The San Diego defense developed over several years. Old habits and new traits have to be learned by defenders that may have to develop confidence after a streak of games dating back to last year of imploding. Missed tackles may be a factor of being a half step slow getting in tackling postion because you are just thinking instead of naturally reacting.

8.Jason Garrett really impressed me. I can only remember one play call that made me react "what the f--- was that?" and that was the one yard pass attempt to the full back in the flat. Other than that it was one "very nice" after another.

9.Romo is going to be criticized constantly by media type haters out there that just cant get past the fact that he was an undrafted free agent and they will grasp for things like "he throws funny, or he doesnt impress me or he is inconsistent" but I got to say, he just makes plays and he has fun out there and I enjoy watching him. Isnt that what its about.

10.anyone else get sick of the announcers calling for Tiki. "Hey Tiki, get your uniform on; where is Tiki?; Coughlin better give Tiki a call; tiki call home" Enough gratuitous suck up! Tiki is gone- live with it Giants. Maybe I am overly sensitive?
