Below is a list of "second tier" free agents I listed as possibilities for the Cowboys right before free agency began. About half of them are gone. What do you guys think of the rest? My top choice of the remaining free agents listed below would be Tom Ashworth. Besides him, all my favorites from my "second tier" list are gone.

Ashworth's agent is in negotiations with the Bucs, but Miami also remains interested. Also KC will make offer to DT Bernard soon; he visited them on March 14.

Of that list I like Ashworth and Neal, but I'd like to see some of the following players added, as well: OLB Willie McGinest, K Vinatieri/Mare/Brown, WR Walker/TO/Moulds, FS Hope/Coleman, and some of the older OTs would make decent stop gaps as well, like Fabini/Hopkins/Runyan.

Anybody heard anything about Jeff Mitchell? He was born and raised in Dallas. He actually might be an upgrade over Johnson or Gurode.
