Have to admit I was very wrong about him. Vital on the winning drive last week and that sideline catch yesterday was amazing. Guy appears to be a real weapon. Would like to see what he can do on returns because the Beas is not doing it for me.

What was brutal was that brain-dead, punt coverage, stepping on the end-zone line screw-up. I wanted Garrett to cut him on the spot and send him home on a bus.

I believe I yelled cut his arse at the tv on that one as well... Not his best moment for sure

Wants to punch you in the arm like high school buddies for saying something so vile...but has to just shrug shoulders and say...I'll let you off this time...THIS TIME!

:p:D

LOL... I don't know why but in my minds eye, I can see that scene and you are right, right out of HS.

I thought Dunbar would be cut and Wilcox was below average last year, both guys are greatly improved this year and my serving of crow.

Yup. He also should have drawn a PI call on the first long pass to him, the DB was holding his arm as he went up for the catch.

There was not one reason for him to touch the ball at all. Had he just stood there, the whistle would have blown it dead...that was total cluelessness.

you forgot heath and his brutal "backside" block on a defenseless punter who was running to tackle Wilbur.

If the punter chooses to run after the returner to try to make a stop, he's now part of the action and no longer "defenseless". He was actively chasing the ball carrier and could have made a stop without the block. Don't know how you and the Fox crew don't get this.

*Edit: What you said was in jest, so I take back the part about you not understanding it. But not the part about the Fox crew!!

Dunbar is being used basically as a WR, which is a better role for him. I don't think he's ever returned punts. Lucky Whitehead is the guy if they ever trust him. Although I could see them try to move him to the practice squad if they don't IR to return Romo.

He is has also had some very good pass blocks which is impressive for a guy his size.

He could become a real matchup nightmare. Props to the coaches for finding a way to get him one on one multiple times vs linebackers. Heck, he even caused on LB to pull a hammy trying to cover him.

Jeremy Mincey - Mincey is probably better against the run than Gregory. Mincey had 5 tackles, one TFL.
Nicky Hayden - 4 tackles, recovered a fumble, looked solid
Mo Claiborne - Our best DB now?
Danny McCray - That blocked punt makes him worth keeping. The first blocked punt returned by the Cowboys for a TD since 1992.
Mincey still needs to move to a backup role when Gregory is healthy.
Coleman >>>>>>>> 1000 X >>>>>>>>>> Hayden

Mo's serving crow on a silver player, though. Kudos to him.

Dunbar for me.

Really pissed that our staff couldn't get him on the field.

I wanted Dunbar replaced with a more physical back and eat my words now. He's been a great receiving threat and been used to create mismatches. Though I kinda feel like I got the best of both worlds because we kept Dunbar and got a physical back in Christine Michael.

Mo is pretty much a stud at this point.

I'd put him on the list with Dez and Gregory as our 3 best athletes.

As for Dunbar I always thought he could be an effective player. Enjoy it, he'll be playing elsewhere next season.

I agree. I should've included Dunbar and Weeden. Not sure we'd miss Wilber or Heath though.

Exactly. Why didn't they use him more last year.

Also, why did they wait until the second half to get him really involved yesterday?

When you have a young, mean and talented Oline, it improves all aspects of your offense. Cowboys found that out last year, this year they've learned what the same on the dline can do. It just improves everyone
