Some Interesting Things To Think About For Panthers Week

Dowdle coming off an amazing performance, only to see his old team the following week. He has the same amount of rushing TDs in week five, than he did all of last year.

McMillian seemed to be the overwhelming choice for the first pick with Dallas but the Panthers once again took a guy this team coveted. The last time it was Jaycee Horn. Dallas went after a similar wr in Pickens for his catch radius to make up for WR2.

Top pick QB looking to string up consecutive wins. Something he hasn’t done since November of last year. The fans base is still iffy on the guy. Struggled for most of the first half last week, but looked decent to close out the game.

Car Defense that has significantly improved from last years which was one of the worst in history. The run defense was gashed in their first game, but haven’t given up 100 yard rusher since.

Both teams have games where they were blown out and have also delivered the blowout. So both teams are looking for some consistency.

They have similar records, but funny thing is Carolina goes on the road next week to play the hapless Jets. While Dallas has an important division home game vs that team that changed their name.

I know it’s back to back road games and the panthers aren’t exactly the lions. But this will be more of a gauge of where this team is going forward or backward.

This isn’t going to be an easy victory like the Jets were.

This is the so called trap game as the Cowboys have a huge game the following week. They cannot take this team lightly as they are more then good enough to beat an up and down cowboys team

Is Chuba playing? The Panthers are an interesting team. Blown out by the Patriots one week and blew out the Falcons the week before that. Down 17 to the Dolphins then they come back to beat them. Panthers seem to be tough at home. I could see the injuries catching up to us in this one.

What’s their D line like? Their QB doesn’t scare me but neither did Caleb Williams or Wilson. If we can run the ball I like our chances. But I’m not too familiar with their defense and especially front 7.

Will be a good test for the interior Offensive line with Derrick Brown at DT.
Hoffman, Bass and hopefully Smith will have their hands full.

I don't recall the offensive line for the Panthers last week, but they returned all 5 starters from last year.

Miami is a tire fire, so not too worried about Dowdle.

Dallas better be careful on this game. They do have weapons. Coker is one to watch. They aren't the Jets. They play hard for 4 quarters.

This game could be a real momentum killer. I expect Dallas to win but that is the problem. Personally, I both liked and rated Dowdle, hes not to be taken lightly and will be fired up for sure.
Dowdle is coming across as an ungrateful awesome person. Dallas kept him around for 3 years until he wasn't injured for his last season and got a.chance to play and now he is talking smack....

I think the QB play will be the difference Young vs Fields will probably having us saying Young surely is better and it will make a difference as Fields needs to retire!!

Did they? Or did they designate him as injured and refuse to put him on the field to keep a favored player on the field? Then insulted him when it was time to talk contract.

Looks like they have a solid pass defense somehow without generating much pressure at all. If I remember correctly from last year, they play a lot of different zone coverages and make you earn yardage with long drives. Derrick Brown and Ashawn Robinson are some big dudes up front to deal with in the running game.
