Some news tidbits that make me happy

Mr. Know It All (not me!!!!) Cris Carter and Da Killah Ray Lewis have been moved off NFL coverage by ESPN. (I guess Ray Lewis will be dealing with parental problems this season.)

But, alas, the former moody Randy Moss (and now eager for a paycheck and NOT MOODY) is in at ESPN.

You may now go back to your debates about Ramsay, Jaylon Smith, etc. ad nauseum.

Anyway, those two blokes won't be making their high and mighty pronouncements on the Dallas Cowboys on ESPN anymore, on the team they love to trash.

I never watch ESPN. I stick with nfl network. I can't stand Marshall Faulk but the rest don't bother me TOO much.

Quit being so humble, Gimme. You know good and well there's hardly a thing you don't know. Anyways, I hardly watch espn at all, so I won't much miss them. On the rare occasion that I did see them, I couldn't stand them, so good riddance!

Don't really watch ESPN Primetime either. Berman aint what he used to be, Jackson is meh, Coach Ditka left the show as well, Ray Lewis sounded like he was on a deacon board with his sermons.

Switch to NFLN with Prime and Playmaker and haven't looked back since, and feel most should do the same..

Carter's downfall is partly attributed to a show in which he instructed rookies to have a "fall guy" when they drink and drive, when they smoke and drive, when they chase girls and drive etc. The notion of him winking at criminal behavior and giving young men tips on beating the rap did not sit well with many.

Cris Carter was terrible.

Carter is arrogant but I thought he provided some great insight as a former player and as someone still connected to the current players.

Ray Lewis didn't provide much as an analyst. In fact ESPNs entire lineup is terrible. It's definitely time for Berman to go. I wont always agree with him, but Jaws at least actually puts in time to watch film. The rest of the guys, I don't get that sense.
