The action would be under the guise of Goodell himself concluding that Jones “has been or is guilty of conduct detrimental to the welfare of the League or professional football.” Under the current CBA, this is well within Goodell’s power.

Goodell and his Bob Kraft collusion with SpyGate and other machinations has been far more detrimental to the league that Jerry Jones has ever been.

Jerry has only been detrimental to his own team.

They wont get rid of the Cowboys they would just take the Cowboys away from Jerry. The problem with that as an option is that it would damage the league to such a degree that it potentially may not recover. But people do really stupid things when it comes to stuff like like this.

I think there's more going on than meets the eye here. The last couple of years should be enough for people to grasp how deep corruption runs in most of our institutions. The NFL is not exempt. I'm thinking of what Jerry said when the flag controversy was at it's peak: "Make me the Bad Guy".

I believe some NFL owners are jealous of Jerry's business acumen, stadium, headquarters and the popularity of his team.

The most popular team in the NFL before Jerry owned the Cowboys was ...... the Cowboys as the NFL has grown so has the Cowboys. It's not like he took the Jaguars and made them the most popular team in the league, Jerry just squeezes everything he can financially out of that popularity.
