Comes through for the opposing team once again. The guy never lets you down when it comes to letting you down. Go ahead and defend him and say what you want, but it's been four years. Yes, this is my second post about this dude in two weeks, but he is that awful.

Gurley hasn't had 100 yard game since God knows when and of course he goes off on our defense. Goff and Simeon have looked like all pros, I'm super excited to see how Rodgers is going to fare against Marinelli next week.

He allowed the Rams to put up 35 points in a home game. The Rams! Let that soak in

This is exactly right.

I am no football genius. I literally called exactly what Marinelli was going to do last week-and that is exactly what he did.

It is always the same song and dance against a young QB with this guy.

"Give the young QB all day to throw."
"Make the QB read the defense."

Such a terrible philosophy.

Switzer should be benced but knowing Garett nothing will happen.

Marinelli is done. He should be a position coach at this point in his career...definitely not a DC. Tired of hoping for War Daddies, I just want a DC who will scheme and can make average players better.

I am sick of his defense, playing to hold your opponent to FGs, while letting them build up their comfort level every single week gets old. The 3 points before the half being a perfect example of the failure he is.

Don't forget using a 3 man rush on the Rams final drive when they were obviously running the ball. The man is completely lost out there.

I also think there are WAY too many moving pieces as far as position specific subs. Put guys in a position and leave them there. We are flip flopping safeties and corners and line backers all over the place. I genuinely don't think guys know where they're supposed to be or what they're supposed to do because he just keeps moving pieces around, to our detriment.

Look at New England's defense - they're awful. Did Belichick forget how to coach?

You can have all schemes you want, and you still need enough good players to execute it. Be honest with yourself, and ask just how many guys we have on defense that strike fear in our opponents. One? Maybe?
