Yes, I think so. There's enough time to get MBIII done. We have a lot of leverage for this coming year whereby he likely isn't going anywhere.

Thanks for posting this. The past few days things have really gotten out of hand around here. We have had fake users create profiles just to start crap on the forum. Now we have another one in Donkey.

I really hope our Mods are looking into these threads and taking them seriously. These types of threads and users are exactly what causes grief and frustration that in the end can pull a community like ours apart.

Mods - if you are reading this. Please step to these posters and REMIND them where they are and that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

I don't think MBIII is going anywhere if we tender him a 1st and 3rd round equivalent this off-season.

That said, I do hope we get MBIII done as well, but at least with MBIII we have quite a bit of leverage THIS coming off-season. I don't think have we any leverage with Hamlin or Crayton.

But like you, I'd really like to get those 3 done as well as Flo, if possible.

I don't think it's Barber. He could wait another year and leave as a UFA, or get a franchise tag, and more than double a 5.5 million dollar SB!

I don't want to lost MBIII even for a first and third. He brings too much to our team.

I could see someone taking him for that amount and adding his toughness and fire to their offense.

Bill Belichick in particular loves Barber and while he doensn't have their first rounder this year... I wouldn't put it past him to pull something off.
