Something about Bledsoe

If you watch the game last night Bledsoe has a tendcy to peddle back and wing the ball before planting both feet; so he wings it off his back leg.

When the pressure was on and he need the passes to count this came back and bit him he short hoped two balls to wide open wr.

I saw this more than once last night

Drew was generally hand cuffed ... esp when it mattered most.

How many more 3rd down underneath routes are we gonna throw to the TE and RB which gets them tackled BEFORE the first down???

Maybe we're seeing the result of the busdriver act. Maybe this will wake up management ... no team will make the playoffs with a busdriver at QB.

Those are his mechanics as shatty as they are. He's been doing that for a long time and refuses or can't change at this point.

I don't hate the guy. He's just been overhyped his entire career given his average production. This ain't Aikman, heck he's not even Danny White for that matter.

I don't hate the guy. But last night's game was the epitomy of a busdriver in action.

Instead of going for the throat, we went into DFU mode. Game over!!

Maybe if his defense didn't give up 14 points in the final 4 minutes he's have won the game. Maybe his FG kicker should have made that FG. Bledsoe was the least of our problems last night....

See I agree Nors...

We've got a load of problems at this point.

You were right... This season is going to be "Special". Short-bus special, but special none-the-less.

Bledsoe did not lose the game for us, Nor did he win it by controlling the clock or take us back for the win when we needed it.

BP wanted a bus driver and got it. He played a good game stat wise, but he is no Roger.

This season still could be special - I'm not jumping of the bridge like you Mikey. You have been on the bridge for months waiting to start the theatrics.

That is the problem- some here have NO PERSPECTIVE at all. This is only ONE game- JUST LIKE LAST WEEK. this team is a work in progress- we played better D overall this game then last game. BUT we made a couple of critical mistakes- and we did not adapt our D to the threat at the end. This is just as much on the coaches as the players- they all lost this game.

One fluke loss to a bad team should not make us worry. It happens weekly in the NFL. Take away the two busted coverages and our defense looked awesome.

I'm with you on the guys that run the routes two yards short of the sticks, I swear I don't get this, the Cowboys must had done this like eight times in the second half.

Drew played tentatively. He looked like he was more worried about getting rid of the ball then making plays.

I think that's more on coaching then Drew. They probably warned him constantly about not getting sacked.

I posted this on another thread but it seems to apply here better.

The Cowboys became complacent on both sides of the ball in the fourth quarter, assumed the game was won and mentally went to the locker rooon early. Washington; however, continued to give it their best effort and found the coverage's glaring weakness (As if it wasn't clearly exposed last year - "Hit-man" Williams isn't even a decent cover safety, much less a cover corner.)

The offensive play-calling in the fourth quarter was idiotic and reminded me of what a "Prevent Offense" would look like.

Plus, it looked to me like the Boys were all winded and wilted in the heat. Wonder if Parcells ever heard of the pickle juice trick? Washington's players, on the other hand, looked fired up and energetic late in the game.

On the whole, I'm not upset since I have learned to accept things I cannot change, but I am a little disappointed that the Boys just frittered away a game they had won. It indicates they have a long way to go if they're going to be any good this year. The offensive play-calling was way too stodgy in the fourth Quarter and they blew multiple opportunities with mistakes and careless penalties.

In short, they thought they had this one won and quit playing too soon - big mistake at this level. There's still a lot of games to go and it's early in the season, but losses that should have been wins always haunt you.

Had Dallas ran the ball 3 times and punted I would agree fact is we did not just try to sit on the ball as we have over the last few years. We made 1 st down that could have sealed the game but holding on Flo brings it back, the pass to Glenn on 4th was his mistake he did not take it past the 1st down marker the play was not called for him to run it under the 1st down marker.
