Worthless.
Worthless.
I hope you're right. In the 20 years of my Cowboys fandom, I've always just felt like the Super Bowl is this unattainable fantasy that only "good" teams can get to. I guess I never felt like we were one of those teams. To be one of those teams now, to me it just doesn't feel real yet. I guess because I don't even know what it feels like. This "winning" thing is kind of new to me, lol. All I do know is that things do feel differently the last few seasons, a feeling that I've never experienced before. So I hope that's a sign of great things to come.
Pretty much agree , certainly if not this year then next year.
Well someone woke up on the rung side of the bed and with his face paint not properly on!
Lissen, turn that frown upside down into a smile!
Lets get it!
Lets get it!
Cowboy fever !!!!! Oh Yeah !!!!
I love your enthusiasm and positivity. Stay thirsty, my friend.
Cowboy fever !!!!! Oh Yeah !!!!
That fever will last till the Cowboys win the Super Bowl this year .
Heh heh
I don't smoke but if it takes smoking that to get SB 50... I'll do it lol
Since I'm a team player, I'll join you.

Feels like it's time to go back to 8-8.
I agree with you to a point. Yes, every team's fans feel a sense of optimism and hope. But there's a difference between realistic hope based on facts and pollyannic hope based on just unrealistic expectations.
For example, even though I had "hopes" the Cowboys would push for a playoff spot. I, realistically, didn't think we had the chance in those 8-8 season because I didn't believe we had the discipline, the coaching and the running game to beat better teams.
But I have a better feeling this year based on the realization ...
a.) We've gotten better on defense with the addition of Hardy (a proven pass rusher), a young DeMarcus Lawrence (who was coming on late last year), a projected pass rushing demon in Randy Gregory and an athletic and smart corner/safety in Byron Jones. Then we get Lee back playing at a position that may prevent him from reinjuring himself and crazy-Ro who, if his head on straight, is one of the best middle linebackers in the game.
b.) We'll be in year 2 of Marinelli's defense, which means we should be even better than we were with a bunch of no-names
c.) Then you add La 'el Collins on this stalwart offensive line, a happy and well-paid Dez Bryant who is back to avenge the "No Catch" and a Tony Romo who is healthier and more focused than ever ...
There's reason for hope that's not of the pie-in-the-sky variety.
Just saying ...
