Something Bill Parcells said in WFAN interview kind of rings true right now.

While that may or may not be true, aren't the players on this team the ones he brought in?

Parcells loaded this team with slow guys.

1. I'd put a tad bit more speed on the Oline, Felix is perfect, TO and Williams are perfect, Austin is fine, I would pick up a punt returner.

2.It's time to use Bennett more in deep passing situations, I don't think many LBs/Safeties can out jump him.

3.I would give Felix the start, and let Barber do what he's done his whole career, come in and bruise people.

4.The DLine would be over-hauled. If I'm staying with the 3-4, then Tank and Canty will become backups, and I would find a big powerful end to compliment Ratliff, and draft or pick up a HUGE NT.

5.Ellis is a second stringer at this point, who cares about hurting his feelings, Spencer starts.

6.Zach and James should be gone next year, and most of my picks will go to ILBs, and Free safety.

7.RW is out of here IMO, and Hamlin moves to SS.

8.I'd fire Wade and consider bringing in either a young firey coach, or bringing Cowher in, allow him to choose all of his coaches, including offensive. If he wants Redball, then he can keep him, but if not, adios. It's time to let a coach pick his staff and his players, let him rise and fall with his staff and players.

9. I'd bring in a young QB to push Romo, although I love Romo, I still can't forget Romo's problems this year, unfortunately, Brad was so bad, it's hard to remember Romo hadn't been doing that great this year (compared to what we normally see from him)

10. Jerry needs to just be quiet and sit back and allow the coach he hires to do everything, and Jerry can then hang out with the media promoting his team.

And lastly, I would make every players future at the hands of the head coach and not me the OWNER if I'm Jerry.

You mean like how Bill overpaid for an old, washing up RG(Marco Rivera)? Or how about thinking giving the reigns to 50 year old QBs like Vinny and Bledsoe? Or how about his idea of having a slow-footed Keyshawn as his #1 guy? Or how about drafting Jacob Rogers when ALL of the scouts WARNED him not to?

Tony Romo
Marion Barber
Ware
Tnew
Watkins
Spears
Glenn
Crayton
Ratliff
Columbo
The Shanle
Gurode to Center
Austin
Hurd
Canty

Lets not go crazy saying Parcells didn't upgrade our 53 talent

I will defend Jerry Jones here.

Who paid big money for Anthony Henry?

Who paid big money for Marco Rivera?

Jason Ferguson?
the linebacker from Jacksonville?

Who wanted to draft Spears over Ware?

Who wanted to draft the DT from Kentucky over Newman?

Who didn't play Gurode at center in 2005?

Who didn't solve the free safety problem? He played Keith Davis for 2 years at FS.

Who drafted Jacob Rodgers, Stephen Peterman, and the guy from Wisconsin in the 2nd or 3rd round?

Who drafted Bobby Carpenter at number 18?

Bill Parcells

Now, Parcells did some good in Dallas for sure, and he deserves his share of the credit.

However, did Parcells want T.O.?

Why didn't Romo start over Bledsoe at the start of the 2006 season? He should have started him against Houston at the very least.

Ferguson was BP's guy. And you are forgetting Columbo who BP made a personal project. Also it is known that B P was the only one who wanted to give Gurode one last shot at center. I could go on but whats the point- you already made up your mind.
And Romo MIGHT have been ready at the beginning of the season buy if you want to be honest who here was campaigning for him to start right off.

For the upteenth time...IF Parcells hadn't given final authorization on TO coming here, Owens would NOT be wearing the Star. It was Jerry's IDEA, and Jerry even wanted him here...but WITHOUT Parcells' authorization, this deal would NOT have happened.

And less not forget too that in '04, Jerry suggested to Parcells to sign a CB in FA or otherwise, but Tuna decided to get Pete Hunter off the PS instead.

Or whatever that NY station he gave interview after he resigned from the team. That Fans and Media in Dallas overrate their talent or team's Talent.

So while we all are complaining and moaning about Coaches, maybe Parcells was right on money. We just have overrated Players and it was true even last year. Just got few lucky breaks during season last year, and lack of injuries, kind of helped with record last year.

Now that Adversity cames calling, we all see the result. So Firing Wade/Stewart/Garrett or whoever, may not be really the issue. I think Cowboys have major issues on Front 7 on Defense and front 6 on OFfense and thats not going to be solved that soon.

:hammer: :hammer:

I just haven't had anyone explain to me why everyone thinks this team has talent.

Is it because we have all these #1 draft picks on our defense?
Could it be that although they are #1 draft picks and are starters (exception is Barbie) that they really are busts?

Just because they were signed to these big contracts. Does that make them talented?

Why do we say they are talented?
Can anyone give me any facts to support this? :(

It would really be appreciated.

Anyone who would ever knock what Parcells did here is lost. He built this team from the ground up. Now with all the divas we have it's slowly starting to go back to the old days. It might take a few years but this car is taking a sharp turn in the wrong direction again. It's really a shame. We need a coach with discipline other than a select hand full of guys if you don't have discipline you are not going to win a SB. Plus, we almost have to much talent. It might not be showing on the field, but we need some meat and potatoes guys guys that don't care about stats and are willing to do the dirty work.

I really hope your wrong but i'm scared you right

How did we have discipline under Parcells?

I want a real coach here, but I'm glad Tuna is gone.

Didn't it work for the Giants last year? And it's worked for the Pats this decade.
