It's obvious this team has a lot of work and improvements to make and we could just as easily be sitting here 0-3 or 3-0 had a few plays gone the other way. That said, there is something new about this team so far this season.

This team adjusts better on both sides of the ball better than any previous Garrett-involved team including when he was the OC for Wade. On top of sticking with the run throughout the game, the coaches are making adjustments as the game progresses better than we have seen in a long time.

In previous years under Garrett, it's like the team said, "we have a plan" and when things went badly, they wrote it off as "not executing" rather than "we need to adjust". Of course it remains to be seen if they can adjust against better teams just like it remains to be seen whether they'll stick with the run against those better teams, but for now, it's at least a welcome change.

It's almost like Garrett isn't trying to micromanage and actually has Coordinators now to focus and specialize on the flow of the offense and defense as the game goes on.

The biggest change I've seen is the obvious one- the commitment to the run. Even when behind big today, Murray still got his carries. That forced the Rams to honor the run and not simply tee off on Romo; and that had a huge impact on the eventual outcome.

Now if only Tony can do this were on to something:)

I totally agree.
It sent a message to the Rams defense.

There is no panic.
You will not pin your ears back and go after our QB.
We will fool you with misdirection and we will still come after you.

I love the hiring of Linehan so far.
