Id really like to see marion just flat out blow someone up, slam into them and run them completely over and keep on going. Maybe its just me but it seems like recently he hasnt really been his hard smashing self and yeah thats probably attributed to him not being completely healthy yet but its something that i miss. I was watching some MB3 highlights earlier and man i miss seeing him wade through people like theyre a mud puddle. heres to hoping he lays some smackdown next week :starspin

I really want to see him go back to that "closer" role. That doesn't mean that I don't want to see him early in the game, or I don't want to see Tashard or Felix late in the game. I just want to see a much heavier dose of Barber towards the end of the game to wear down defenses. I think this is when we can hope to see him blow some people up.

I agree, i dont really care if they have him "start" if theyre worried about hurting his feelings or something but i too want him to take a back seat to felix and choice until the end of the game when its time to grind it out with the run and let him punish teams.

Barber still looks 80-85% to me. I'm a little surprised that Choice hasn't gotten a few more carries. On the other hand, Felix appears to be healing rather quickly.

Yeah i loved that play about 20 seconds after it happened, but when it happened i was holding my breath and praying felix got up and didnt limp away. on the replays it definitely gets me jacked up but when it happened i was like oh god please be ok lol.

Have to admit, I was right there with you. I was think shoulder or ribs when I saw him land.

Considering most of us want to see Barber return to his bruising closer ways, did we overpay for him? Or is that a role that deserves that type of money?

That would be awesome to see but I would be happier to see the ground game take over and both MB and FJ having over 120yrs and a couple a td's we need to make our running game known again i think we kinda got away from it

I dont think that will happen until Felix Jones shows he has drastically improved his blitz pickup. When he does, I believe he will become the starter. If not then Jerry needs to rethink things.

Yeah this is definitely true. I think Felix is improving, but he's still nowhere close to Barber in this aspect.

I love Barber.....but he has regressed......

Last year he had fumble problems......this year he is nicked up alot and IMHO gets tackled alot easier now then in the past....

Barber has to go back and do the things he was good at.....run between the tackles and run hard to the hole. It seems to me....and yes the OL isnt helping....but Barber seems to like bouncing things outside too much and doesnt have the speed or the moves to do so.

Overpaid?.....as of right now...and the production we received since he signed that contract....he is....

IMHO....RW....Barber and Hamlin are sure not earning their paychecks....
