The crowd sounded unreal on TV and on the radio. Really enjoyed it. Definitely a playoff-type atmosphere.
The funny part is I think Romo all but single-handedly made the crowd that electric. His presence/emergence has truly changed the "feeling" of this franchise.
Not for us in the crowd. Actually, we felt that the offense was really stifled in the first half - and tried to stay quiet.
We were electric and excited because we knew this team could do well.
But we really got lowd during defense, especially in the second half (the sideline was really getting us into it - Hoyte was energetic, Carpenter, from OSU, really wanted the crowd. God knows he does).
We actually got louder the more Manning did his dancing stuff presnap - that was the most fun, hoping it helped confuse him.
But no - Romo really didn't do much to get us going until the second half, mostly the long pass to Fasano.
If anything - we were deflated by the INT and the near INT called back. Anyone who saw Romo throw that first INT was wondering what the heck he was thinking - we all saw it, and it was an obvious dumb decision.
