Awesome. Sutter is simply the best. Replay this Sat if you missed it or want to see it again. Can't wait for next year. Sadly, it will be the last.

I knew it was going to well. Gonna be interesting what happens to Juice and Gemma. Dont want to spoil it for anyone, but if you've seen it, you know.

I've heard rumblings that it may continue a couple of more seasons. I have buddies who work on the show and were talking about it.

I think a show like this only has a lifespan of about 7 or 8 seasons....The Shield, Rescue Me and Nip/Tuck went just 7 and 6 seasons. Dramas of that nature tend to be pretty taxing, and they end up getting stale. I think all three of those shows did, and the same is happening to Sons. I wouldn't expect more than one more season, there really isn't anywhere else to go with it that makes sense.

The plan, as of now, is for next year to be the final year. I did read an interview with Sutter earilier this year though that if he feels like he has more stories to tell when he's going through next year that he'd be open to signing on for an 8th season. As of right now though the plan is, as it has been since the 2nd or 3rd season, for next year to be the final year.

As for this years final show....wow indeed. I thought something was going to happen with that character but I didn't expect it to be done in that way. I was pretty shocked. As for the vest thing...he wasn't. They showed that there was blood on the floor under him long afterwards.

I don't know if the vest comment was meant as a joke or not but in case it wasn't I was just pointing that out.

Man, just got caught up and watched the finale, pretty boring episode until the last 2 minutes. Definitely a turn I didn't see coming. But now, I really have no idea where the show can go.

I seem to remember seeing or hearing somewhere that there might be a Teller spinoff that goes back to the club's origins or something like that. Maybe that's what they were referring to? More than another season past now just seems like too much, to be honest.

The next season will be Jax' descent into madness. The whole series has Hamlet undertones...the journal being the ghost of his father (literally 'Teller'), the mother plotting with the father's killer. The young prince in position to take over the kingdom from his father's killer. It's got to end with Jax going round the bend. Jemma's gonna get hers, probably, too. That ought to be a gruesome death when it happens.

It was originally meant as a Hamlet adaptation, but they got so far away from that that I don't see the necessity of descending into madness, though it does seem like the only place to go.

Obviously with the killing of Alex and Nero seemingly working with the Mayans and Terra dead I think we see Jax go crazy now. He was heading in the direction of his father before Marrow killed him off. Now it seems that good ole Gemma did it again. So I think next season is going to be incredible.

Next season has Walking Dead written all over it, and that's not a good thing, imo.

The finale was pretty good.

This season however I think was very poor. Jump the shark type poor.

I think it was beyond ignorant using a school shooting as a plot point.

The show to me should have ended two years ago and seems to be falling victim to recycling story lines.

This is my final show I am watching with violence like this. I know it sounds dumb but I am just tired of the violence. It seems Kurt sutter embraces the violence and plays to it which kind of cheapened the show.

David chase was basically shocked that sopranos fans wanted more and more violence and wanted characters killed and sort of backed off some of it and didn't give a concise ending because of it.

LOL! Embraces the violence? Of coure he does. It's a show about ruthless, murdering, criminals. Did you think they were going to go all love story in this thing? Come on man. The core of the show was always going to be the violence of their lifestyles and the consequences of all that violence.

I get that people get tired of shows. It happens. I can't think of any show that kept their entire audience happy for the entire run of the show. It's just not going to happen. I, however, have been nothing but pleased with this show from start to now. It's been my favorite show and continues to be my favorite show.

I will admit that Breaking Bad did come really close over the last couple of months, as I was watching it's entire series, to over taking SOA as my all time favorite but SOA still has won out for me.
