Ok is it me or is BSPN just making stuff up? I havent heard TO being upset or anything. This is the first I've heard that Tr went out of his way to praise TO and tank soothing TO after (werder's words) "losing" the greenbay game. I swear I hate BSPN now.

Add to that the Countdown Crew slamming him on Sportcenter. Calling him To (prounced 2), the Player... Thats just getting personal and name calling. Man they hate on TO. If I were TO, I would accept every ESPN interview request and answer every question with yes, no or no comment.

Typical BSPN bullcrap. Do as I do and watch NFLN instead. Then turn it to Sunday Ticket when the game starts. No BSPN on Sunday mornings for me. :)

I saw that as well. It must be a slow NFL news cycle today. I'm done with them. I'm so sick of them manufacturing crap. You can see the bitterness in their faces as they talk about Dallas. They're interviewing Jerry live later on - I may watch until then.

Face it, TO has his flaws even if all Cowboy fans want to stick their heads in the sand.

TO has had 2 receptions over the last 6 quarters. He's a hugely talented player with a fragile ego.

It doesn't take much to make him feel "unloved". :)

T.O.

  • He scores TD's.
  • He blocks.
  • He chases down defenders who pick off his boy.
  • He draws attention making life easier for Witten, Austin, Crayton, Barber
  • He leads or assists fellow players as they score TD.
  • He congratulates other when they score TD.
  • He pumps up his offense.
  • He pumps up the defense.
  • He is Godfather to other WR's.
  • He loves Tony Romo
  • He and Witten are White Chocolate
  • He loves Jerry
  • He loves Wade
  • He loves the Barbarian
TO is lucky to have Romo and Romo is lucky to have TO.

I mean I could go on and on with this list.

  • Terrell Owens sometimes drops easy passes from Romo just like any other receiver, but every receiver isn't the #1 receiver

And you keep making me wish that my cable network got the NFLN.

Professionalism has never been a concern of BSPN's.

I saw that... it's the angle they are going to stick with all season as it will be big news if the NFL's marquis team has internal strife.

Merrill Hoge also showed his arse when bringing the Cowboys into non-Cowboy related chat. He and Emmitt were picking there breakout/flop players of the week.

Emmitt took Steve Smith of Carolina. Hoge then said JT O'Sullivan, QB of SF. He said Martz is doing a great job with him and he is the best QB in the league right now. He then said SF would make the playoffs and beat the Cowboys. What did that have to do with anything?

When picking dogs of the week Hoge picked the Chicago offense saying that Dallas messed up and awoke a "Sleeping Giant" in the Eagles defense. What did that have to do with Dallas?

Emmitt chose Mendenhall as they are going against Baltimore and that defense and fumbles a lot. Hoge was visibley pissed. He said Mendenhall would break out then started yelling. Watch out Dallas... SF will beat you. Watch out Dallas...

It was ridiculous TV...

This is why I never watch ESPN anymore.

It's hardly the only ridiculous thing awesome person Berman, idiot Keyshawn, and the others say.

Their pregame show used to be great. Now, just like with MNF, they've totally ruined it.

The thing that got me about this Hoge quote is it was more or less saying that Philly wasn't ready and bringing their game to the Cowboys. And if anybody who saw that game, the Eagles were clearly pumped up for the game as they usually are when they play Dallas.

It seems like we are either lucky or the other team didn't show up or we should've done better or if all else fails, we'll just crap out in the playoffs.

I know... I had already caught it...

Don't know what I was thinking...

Hey. With the mindset that the SF/NO game is going to be a shootout I am starting him over Trent Edwards on one of my three fantasy teams. The other two teams both have Romo and Cutler.

I'll sheepishly admit I have been starting Cutler over Romo on those teams for the past couple of weeks and it has been paying dividends.

How many passes go TO's way in the first quarter today?

TO will be involved and involved early. Thank goodness I don't turn my TV to ESPN on Sunday mornings. I don't feel like I am missing anything and life feels so grand. Thank you NFLN & Honey Do lists.
