I know people seen this list already but if you check it out again the good thing is that we signed 2 players out of the top 15.

I know this guy isnt the best analyst in the world but just putting out there that most people have davis and hamlin ranked pretty high in there free agent list.

To me with the signings of the two and the fact that we havent even touched the draft yet we are gonna have a great season folks.

Plus we also re-signed Colombo who was listed at #28, so not a bad offseason.

Yes because what the Cowboys really needed was a "hard-hitting" safety. At least they aren't paying him anything.

And what about the new coaches signing on in the off season? Quite a haul.

This is where Football"s Future had them ranked at their particular possitions. They ranked the players on talent and didn't seperate them into RFA or UFA.

#2 behind only Clements
Ken Hamlin, UFA, Seattle Seahawks
Hamlin is a talented safety with the potential to get even better. After an injury caused him to miss ten games last season, he rebounded mightily this season with 96 total tackles, three interceptions, and a pair of sacks; he was able to equal his career sack high and just fall short of tying his high for interceptions and total tackles. The athletic defensive back could be a valuable asset to most teams, and the Seahawks will work hard to re-sign him, because—when healthy—Hamlin is one of the better safeties in the NFL.

#2 behind only Max Starks.
Leonard Davis UFA Arizona Cardinals
Davis is a massive tackle that the Cardinals can’t afford to lose to free agency, but it seems likely that they will. The Arizona offensive line is already suspect, and losing Davis may be a huge step in the wrong direction, but the team may have to let him go and find a younger, less expensive replacement. Davis has shown the ability to simply be a wall of protection for his quarterback and while teams might not line up for the chance to sign him, anyone looking for a tackle will have him high on the list of those available.

I agree with the Hamlin thing, more or less, but the guy doesn't say one bad thing about a player generally thought of as a disappointment in Davis (and at the very least a disappointment for his draft position). The "Davis has shown the ability to simply be a wall of protection" line gave me pause. Really? I'm sure he's like that sometimes, but that's not the impression I got when I watched him play. He seems lethargic.

I love our offseason so far, starting with the coaching hire right through to Ken Hamlin.

I don't know what else anyone could reasonably expect. I guess maybe Adalius Thomas in a perfect world, but IMO we've been pretty close to perfect.

I NEVER watch the Cards so the only think i have to go on is the vid someone posted of him last year against us where he was good. Not sure if i even paid attention to him before now. Just leaving the Cards should help not to mention he's playing at his best possition, RG.

The best thing about our off season so far is the change at HC.

I agree the change at the top is good. But, other changes like Davis may turn out to be a blockbuster move. If, and why do we always have to qualify a free agent signing with ifs, Davis can perform as expected at guard, Hamlin at safety, Colombo at right tackle, Gurode at center, Ellis at Linebacker, and
Romo at quarterback, what's to stop Dallas sweeping the Eagles and maybe going all the way?
