Randy Moss was limited in Patriots practice Wednesday with a "back" injury.

Moss did fall hard on his Week 1 touchdown catch and took another shot in the game, but he spoke with reporters Wednesday and that's usually a sign players will play. Still, the Pats are very shady with injuries and are unlikely to give a direct indication as to whether Moss will face the Jets all week.

Belichick usually gives his vets a rest on the 1st practice days of the week. Even Bruschki and Harrison were limited too, I think.

This is nothing.

I didnt want to start another thread on injuries (real or not) with WR's.... so...

Isnt it funny how Dante Stallworth played in all Pats games when he was on team but he missed games with Eagles and NOW Browns.

The guy is a slacker.

I heard nothing but bad things about him when he was in New orleans, he doesn't put out the effort he should quite often, and back then he had stone hands.

Moss quit in Minny when it got tough, and he quit in Oakland (not that he really started). The dudes a loser and will turn in his uniform the first chance adversity pops its little head.

Yep.

Which is why I think that when in New England they didnt go for that. Your post just backs that up.

And you know this because you were the one catching the TD?

I don't know if he fell hard, if the injury is legit, if he's quitting already, or any of that. But for someone to make some statement like "He didn't fall hard" shows how ignorant you are. You haven't got a clue how hard he hit the ground or didn't.

Brady gave him the TD record and revived his career. I think he's earned some loyalty.

it doesnt matter if he fell hard or soft......that is inconsequencial.......maybe he fell wrong. you can go down as soft and slow as possible, but if you go down wrong, you can tweak something.

Since when did Brady ever set passing records without Moss? I would think that Moss is the reason Brady set all types of passing records, not the other way around, considering historical precedent. Moss surely did it for Culpepper with the Vikings. The only thing is, Moss needs is a QB with a half-way decent offensive line that allows himto get deep.

There is a reason the Patriots tried retaining Moss, while letting WRs go that performed well for them.

I watched the play and he's not my Randy Moss. I'm a fan, but not a die hard fan, I just find it incredibly ignorant of someone to watch something on TV and then pretend they have any clue how much something did or didn't hurt.

Unless you were there you don't know and making some uneducated guess that it didn't hurt, because you are, or aren't, a fan of a person is ignorant.

Often times when I've played football it's the things that don't look like they were much that were a lot more painful than the 'big' falls, landings, or hits.

If you guys think TO is better than Moss then how do you also think that Moss makes Brady a better QB then TO makes Romo? Sounds more like homerism to me.

The use of the word "ignorant" is ignorant. And look at me, now ignorant just like you. Though my real suggestion to you, decaf, Hulk.

Thanks, but no thanks. I don't drink coffee. Outside of that the rest of your post was pretty much useless, but thanks for trying anyway.

The difference in what you get production-wise out of Moss and Owens is small.

With that in mind, Ill take TO any day of the week because he won't quit.

Moss is a bum. He has always been more about himself than he has the team.
