Linebacker Bart Scott didn't turn down a five-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens, but he did hit the free agent market Friday morning.

Scott's phone lines are open to other teams. The Ravens have been improving their roster and believed they were close to a deal with Scott, according to a source.

The Ravens were trying to re-sign Scott, linebacker Ray Lewis and center Jason Brown. No deals were made as of Thursday night, and the Ravens are bracing for the loss of Brown, who wants $8 million a year.

Not sure if they are going to be able to re-sign Ray Lewis if they re-sign Scott. So maybe Lewis won't be using us to get more money from Baltimore.

I'm afraid who ever does not return to the Ravens will go to the Jets. I think they have their sights sets on either Lewis or Scott and are going to make it impossible for any team to match the offer they make to either.

After hearing about the Commanders moves, I don't know how any player is off the table under any scenario. If the team wants him...

The Skins have just made the salary cap a complete joke with these huge contracts.

He'll be a NY Jet within the next couple of hours.

Peter King is saying that too. Ravens will then resign Ray-Thug Lewis

He's been linked to the Rams, Jets and of course the Ravens. I've read that ESPN's John Clayton notes that Scott has already turned down a deal worth $7.5 million a year from Baltimore. That's too rich for my blood.

He already has a visit scheduled with St. Louis.

Does Ray want to play for the ravens? I thought he either wants to maximize $$$ or play for his former coordinator. Them losing Rex Ryan and then having to franchise their players would lead me to believe players are trying to abandon ship.
