Linebacker Bart Scott didn't turn down a five-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens, but he did hit the free agent market Friday morning.
Scott's phone lines are open to other teams. The Ravens have been improving their roster and believed they were close to a deal with Scott, according to a source.
The Ravens were trying to re-sign Scott, linebacker Ray Lewis and center Jason Brown. No deals were made as of Thursday night, and the Ravens are bracing for the loss of Brown, who wants $8 million a year.

Not sure if they are going to be able to re-sign Ray Lewis if they re-sign Scott. So maybe Lewis won't be using us to get more money from Baltimore.
