Probably no reason to go back to ND.

He likely won't be able to play next year as he will be rehabbing. He also has an insurance policy that pays him $5MM if he falls out of the first round of the draft. So he could enter the draft, go in the 2nd or 3rd round, collect $5MM, rehab with a pro team and their trainers and start the clock ticking on his next contract.

I'd be surprised if he returned to ND.

A guy can hope...of course, that assumes he is able to play

If his injury pushes him to the second, I have Usain Bolt race to the podium with the card. I know there are widespread hard-ons for Jack, but I actually prefer Smith.

'OMG you'd jump all over him in the early 3rd.

Although he probably wouldn't play for at least 8-9 months which would put him back on the field by Sept./Oct.

Zero chance he would last until our 3rd pick if he does still in fact decide to come out imo. Would have to be our 2nd rounder, and even then, he might already be gone.

Jones is as good as Gurley or McGahee and they didn't fall out of the first. I'm betting a playoff team will take him in the 20's.

Probably the Packers. Damn those cheese heads.

He is coming out. He has nothing to gain by going back to school. He would miss 2/3 of the season and be extremely rusty. He'll declare and he'll go in the first round. In fact, I think someone will trade up from the second to get him. He is too good of a player and has too much upside to slip out of the first. Miles Jack is coming off a significant injury and people are starting to talk about him in the top 5.

That plans sounds good....but what if he is picked in the 1st? Late 1st???....lose out on 5 Mil....don't play your 1st year....I think he goes back to school....rehabs...then takes his chances in the 2017 draft 5 million$ richer.
