How many of the players you named had tons of other injuries to go along with that? I know Peterson had one in college.

Sorry I don't feel the need to go find an avatar that fits your needs. I just post to speak my mind on here. I would actually turn off avatars if I could. They mean nothing.

And that is what the players will do... But we're fans. We don't change anything commenting on the team.

And Sean Lee isn't some replaceable grunt, anyway. He's a top player. Can't just dial up 1-800-Sean-Lee.

Has nothing to do with it. This 1 singular knee injury is not going to end his career. Get him to Dr. Andrews in the next few weeks and with Lee's known great work ethic he will be playing by November next year.

Now will he stay on the field after that? That's a legitimate question.

I think this injury compounded with all the other surgeries will take a toll at some point. I can't even count how many he has had now since Penn St. And it's the opposite leg from college, right? You would have rather it been the same one.

This alone won't end his career but his days are numbered in this league. He's going to be near 30 and will have spent almost as much time on IR than on the field. Not good. It's not like he was a huge established player and then had a few seasons. This has been going on since college. And he has never established himself.

It's a huge blow but not the end of the world. I love Lee and hate this . As good as he is , him always being injured is something the cowboys have to have had on their minds and have started to be prepared for. The question is can one of our players step in and fill the void or do we go outside?

I'm scared this actually gets him a pass. I hope not. But Jerry desperately wants Jason to succeed and does not want to fire him. He's like a son to him. He never felt that way about any of our coaches under his regime.

Now all we have Is 8 below average players besides 3 on d. Unless melton plays then we may have 4 average to above average. Lol this d could be worse than last year's.

I'll wait on that. Just looked up the cows went 8-8 in 2012 when Rat and Lee both only played in 6 games. I'll bet it was gloom and doom then.

I'll say this now: I would take an healthy Spencer over a healthy Lee.

I think this D has a chance to be middle of the road if Melton still has it, Crawford can play, one of the 7th round rookies overachieves(Stanford). Lawrence and Spencer are a luxury.
