Another worthless second rounder, but I don't necessarily blame the guy, we refuse to give him a real chance.

Let's be honest. If he can't beat out a mid 30s Witten who can only run one route effectively these days, he's useless.

Until Jason Witten hangs it up, our tight end picks are essentially wasted because they will get limited playing time. Escobar has skill, but he's never on the field for long.

For some reason we don't use our best weapons on offense enough...I almost forgot we had Escobar what a beast. Romo isn't smart enough to realise he has to pass the ball to Dez and Escobar more.

Not smart QB's don't end up with this numbers

Should be ready to go for TC.

Huge.....:flagwave:

People hate him....but he really is the heir apparent to Witten. If he can recover and make the transition to faze out Witten seemless...so much the better. People need to realize...Witten can't block...and the penalties..are killer.

The rock can be spread only so much.

Whatever....the trio of Garrett/Romo/Witten have won nothing. As far as I'm concerned they are part of the problem...looking out of each others stats. Trust is the issue...

I think you're being a bit facetious but I do think that Witten gets way too many targets. I'm fine with him moving the chains, but he is a ballast on the offense.

I believe the team would like to establish another TE who is a greater threat than Witten for somewhat more significant YACs. I think they'd also like to establish another TE with better route-running abilities than Escobar. Enter Rico Gathers. That late draft selection seemed revealing to me in those aspects. Gathers should be afforded opportunities in TC to justify the staff for taking a chance on him in the draft. Hopefully, he'll manage to reward their faith with some respectable overall play and less limited TE performance. I, for one, will be wishing him godspeed in that endeavor.
