Pass blocking has always been a little better than it looked - hard to block for the Bledsoes of the world. But pass blocking is what your LT is paid for. Everyone else on the line needs to be a good run blocker.

One of the reasons, I think, is that our OL is huge. Even if they get a push it's hard to find a gap between 2 350lb guys. Lots of strength, but not quite enough athleticism.

Still, though - there could be some improvement there. They were a better run blocking unit in 2004.

I think that the running lanes (excluding the last game) have been there initially but they closed quickly. If anything, the o-line needs to improve on holding their blocks a little longer and that should come with the added incentive of being in the playoffs.
