why not do the smart thing and extend his contract now! give the kid a nice fat bonus before he blows up with a 20 sack season!!! But then again its the Cowboys... we would rather give money to guys like Brad Johnson and Lenard Davis!!!

Ware is cheap now because he was a draft pick. Teams count on those guys being good players for low prices on their initial contract. It wouldn't make sense either way for them to try for an extension.
