Leary is a starter and the backup is a scrub journeyman. McFadden is unlikely to play for the Cowboys. So replace McFadden with Leary. Doubt we can re sign him anyway

You are my friend jwooten, you. BFFWho's your friend? lol
I don't know if anyone is ignoring it per se, but being perfect on all of our 1st round picks and getting some late round success has helped soften the blown 2nd rounders
The 'inconvenient truth' everybody wants to ignore and quickly move on from.
Well, I been around this board for quite awhile now, so you kind of know that that is coming. You just share for the people that would appreciate the information, no matter how wrong it ends up being.I'm seeing the usual suspects applying the typical "nothing to see here people!" routines.
Some people can take both the good and the bad, while some people can't.

What about Escobar, Romo and a mid round pick for JJ Watt? Although JJ is not playing this year but for next off season?
Both team's salary caps explode in a bloody mist
In a conversation with a friend of mine (does not play for Dallas) who shares the same agent as Escobar, made a weird statement in a conversation we were having. It could very well be nothing, take it for what its worth.
Me: You think we going to the playoffs?
Friend: You act like you are part of the team, but yeah "y'all" will be there.
Me: Don't be mad because you stealing checks right now, I guess that's a credit to your agent though.
Friend: <laughing> You make a living off of hating, I guess he got your boy Gavin stealing checks over there too.
Me: Oh ok, I see. At least he will be part of a Superbowl contender.
Friend: Oh yeah? He needs to worry about his *** being traded to Houston.
Me: What?
Friend: Naw, naw, I am just saying.
I tried to pull more out of him, but there wasn't any more, and he downplayed what he was saying. Like I said, could be and probably is nothing, but interesting nonetheless. I do know that sometimes things are in the works, get reported as rumors, but then fall through.
Just thought I'd share.
Yeah just with him likely leaving, I jump if clowney is dangled. We survived (excelled?) without Tyron a few games I'd change it if it came to it. And I only said on place of McFadden in regards to the Texans not needing an RB, not out of any heartache over losing him.
Edit - you're right, jeopardizing the continuity and stellar play of the line would be foolish. Man I'd love clowney though.
I still think, in the right situation, Escobar ought to be a really good role player. We've assembled some decent players with better blocking skills around him, so I see why he's losing snaps, but it still surprises me. I've said it before, but last year when Dunbar went down and before we put Cassel in the lineup is where I expected Escobar to be a matchup player for us, and then....nothing.
At this point, he's only holding a roster spot as long as Hanna is out. If we can get anything for him, we ought to.
Romo for Clowney would make more sense. Leary does not have much value to the Texans considering that they could just sign him as a free agent after the season.
A QB like Romo on the other hand won't be available in free agency.
I wouldn't be in a big hurry to trade Escobar, what if Witten got hurt? who replaces him? Swaim or Hanna? Escobar has been a failure here because he doesn't get to play much...mostly due to Witten.
Yes, it's always a problematic issue. If you do hear something for real, you feel like you want to share it with the board; however, on the flip-side we've all been burned out in the past by people that constantly claimed inside info. The other issue is that people often way over rate somebody's opinion if they meet them in person or know them (i.e. If a fan knows a player they tend to take anything that player says as undisputed fact).Well, I been around this board for quite awhile now, so you kind of know that that is coming.
