That's what the specualtion has been. I don't know? If Norv loses to the Colts, he just may get fired. I keep going back to Marty who was 14-2.
Who was fired because he couldnt win a playoff game which Norv did x3, so your point.....?

1. Remind who was injured for Arizona?

2. Injuries didnt seem to prevent us from being up 13-3 in the middle of the 4th at Pittsburgh. Tony Turnover and a not so clutch D did.

3. The Ravens game? Please.
1. Felix and Kosier
2.The Chargers also led and blew leads in the game you listed.

3. The Ravens game,No Kosier, Felix Holland Barber

Nice attempt at equivocation,though.

I like Felix and Kosier's value was shown in his absence, but let's get real. Neither one of those guys compare to the loss of Merriman in any shape or form. He is to that defense what Peyton is to the Colts offense. Dot Period.

Consider the source.

If PFT wrote that the sky is blue, I'd run outside to check for myself.

This is just another piece in a long line of BS. The Chargers aren't firing Norv, regardless of what happens in the playoffs; they'll dump Ted Cottrell faster than you can blink, however.

Norv's offense carried the team. The defense held it back.

If Norv gets fired I would hire him to help Garret and he would be great for Romo. Many people think he is a better coordinator than head coach. He did well with the 49ers as an offensive coordinator two years ago as they improved in points scoring when he was there. Many Bay area sports journalist think that when he went to the Chargers it hurt Alex Smith and the offense was not the same. Just FYI.

They already did that.

I'm with you on PFT, though.

If Norv is fired, AJ Smith has lost his mind. But if that occurs, Jerry would be a fool not to hire him.

Hell, I would promote Garrett to HC and let Norv coach offense. Bring in Capers (like Garrett wanted) to coach the D.

It can still work.

At least Norv didnt learn how to call plays from TECMO BOWL like our resident boy genius obviously did.

As far as promoting Garrett to head coach.......talk about rewarding mediocricy!!!!
