Speed Racer Movie !!

I absolutely loved this movie. I encourage anyone who enjoys a fun story and lots of action, to go see this movie soon. I never go and re-watch movies after Ive seen them unless they are on DVD. I am going back tomorrow to see it again.

It really is a very COOL show folks.

If it is as good as Dallas says, then the trailers aren't doing it much justice. They're horrible IMO. I'll have to wait for DVD.

This is an excellent point. Whenm I took my son this morning to the show it was just to take him. I wasn't expecting much from it after seeing a couple of the trailers.

I was wrong. It is a very fun movie. John Goodman is pretty cool in it.

Trixie is to DIE for. I love that girl. Talk about an all grown up woman. Wow. She has come a looooong way from the Addams Family.

The story is very good and the theatrics are very well done. The races are incredible.

Right on. I didn't realize Goodman was in it. I love that guy.

I'll still probably wait for it on DVD as I don't go to the theatre but two or three times a year, but your opinion is duly noted. I'll check it out in a few months.

You may be right. I didn't expect much from TRANSFORMERS either.

Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

sorry, maybe I am just not into futuristic super heros but I hated it. We took our grandson who is six to see it on Mothers Day. A 2 and 1/2 hour kids movie. Ugh. It went on and on and on. Even Grandson didnt like it. Nims Island was 100% better as a kids movie. Again, Did I say I hated it. Hated it.

I saw it the day after it came out just to give it a shot. Wasn't really expecting that much, just crazy visuals. I was pleasantly surprised. The movie is fun as hell, and after I told my wife I liked it she wanted to see it (she hadn't wanted to before). She ended up reallying liking it as well. Definitely will be picking up the Blu-Ray. As long as you don't go looking for anything too serious and just go with the flow of it being over the top you should have a great time.

And today I was again pleasantly surprised by Prince Caspian. The first movie was so drab and dull with horrible acting and just no emotional weight at all. Everything in Prince Caspian was WAY better than Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Acting was better, action scenes were tons better, the score was much better and darker. The tone and pacing were much better, it was darker and there seemed to be a greater sense of urgency. Just an all around much better movie than I was expecting.
