Sports Illustrated Mock Draft (Feb 26th) (Cowboys Only 2 Rounds)

16. Dallas Cowboys (8-8): Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt.
Sure, Clowney’s 4.53 40 time was incredible. But Donald’s 4.65, at 280-plus pounds, might have been even better. The Cowboys do not have any cash lying around with which to re-sign Jason Hatcher. Nabbing Donald would make Hatcher’s impending departure sting a lot less. The Pitt product is capable of disrupting offenses on a consistent basis.

47. Dallas Cowboys: Scott Crichton, DE, Oregon State.

Definitely no surprise.

I just don't want to see us get too cute in this draft.

Stay put and work your draft board.

Very high motor player with some strength and toughness to him. He fights like hell. I believe he would be a left defensive end for us. Doesn't have elite off the snap quickness but has more than enough tools to be a very good starting DE.

Like Chricton alot.

Makes 2 of us, maybe my favorite prospect in the entire draft. If we were to trade back again to the late 20s or even 30s I'd target him heavily there, don't think he lasts til 48.

Would be great if it happens.

Anything that involves getting Donald in RD1 and another defensive stud in the 2nd would be great. Anyone like Crichton, Telvin Smith, Trent Murphy, maybe even another tackle that drops like Hageman

Would be on board, though after Travis being such a huge hit whoever they take I'm good with. Unless it's freaking Johnny Manziel.
