ouch to most of that.

I wonder if all the great players in cincy's past show up and wonder if palmer is the answer.....or if this is done in other cities?

I agree pretty much 100% with woody and moose though.

I never knew Dave Widell was an idiot.

Which guys never look at the cheerleaders? That's just wrong.

There are some good comments and then some not so good ones.

John Dutton's is just plain stupid. Talk about throwing out the baby with the bath water...

btw - I loved Otto Stowe for the short time he was here. Stowe, Ron Sellers, Billy Parks. Brief but fun.

That's what I was thinking. What's up with some of those panel choices?

Bjornson = late 90's failings Widell = late 80's failings

Now to be fair if these guys are still in football in some capacity, OK. If they're coaching or scouting at any level, that'd make sense.

Did Dutton think this would make him sound old-school? Or was he aiming for 'like an idiot'?

Don't get mad at the guy for pointing out this is a team of losers. Dutton was a part of some of the playoff wins and the glory days they're leeching off. You can't really cherry pick the supposed good apples either because they'll all had their scrapes with the bad ones. They've also failed to lead this team anywhere ultimately. Just more homerism.

Resonates just as loudly as 44-6 in a win and in game.

Not sure why I took this particular post off of ignore. Wish I hadn't. It was a stupid thing to say on Dutton's part.

Even a pretend poster like yourself is going to have a hard time making a remotely convincing case that there's no one on this team worthy of playing with John Dutton. Fortunately for you, being remotely convincing isn't something you actually care about.

I think he thought he would sound "old school" but he must have forgotten that he was the weakest link on our D-Line in the late 70s & early 80s. When I am picking my teams of the decade, he ain't on them. That makes him sound "like an idiot".

why do other team's fans post here under false guises?

man up and be a fan of your team and don't try to cloak and dagger people as though you cared about the star.

I think it's funny how you guys resort to subterfuge because you don't have a team like the cowboys to root for.

America's team for a reason.

With all due respect to John Dutton, he callously dismissed the entire team. DeMarcus Ware and Jason Witten could have started for many championship teams (Cowboys or other) during any era. Maybe he made his comment as a tribute to his former teammates..?
