I know several of yall are also from SA.....

Why did they replace Out of Bounds with the Dan Patrick show. My drive to work is supposed to wake me up, not put me back to sleep. I miss C-Note and JDub.....Dan Patrick is so boring. I can't find anything he says or anyone he interviews to be interesting.

I wish Ticket760 would stop screwing up my Sports radio.

First The Extravaganza goes away, but that was cause Tony Bruno left. Fox should have paid the man...the show was awesome.

Then in the evening, Fox gets rid of the Thompson Brothers.....who I enjoyed.

For a while, Charlie Parker was on in the morning with David Chancellor and that was a decent show, but they pulled that one too.

Then they got rid of Vex and Walter, who annoyed me at first, but then grew on me, and I really enjoyed their show.

Now they get rid of Out of Bounds......

I swear, Sports talk radio in San Antonio Sucks........the only good shows we get now are The Jim Rome Show and The Dallas Cowboys Hour......

no....i dont go to many games.....and to be honest, i dont like to go. i like watching on TV, especially when Sean is doing the broadcast.

when i go to games i dont get animated. I try to control myself because if i dont, i will be very foul mouthed.....and that is something i dont want little kids to have to deal with. so i just sit there and watch the game or get up and clap from time to time. At home i can get loud and rowdy and cuss like a sailor.

haha, ya, i forget sometimes when i go to games, luckily the kids are few at club 200. I love sean elliott, hes an awesome analyst. I was asking because they finally changed the intro song from "yall ready for this" to something else, and ive only been able to make it to the season opener and because of the ring ceremony they didnt have a normal intro. Im still trying to figure out what the new song is.

Dan Patrick retired from working with ESPN. His plan was to produce his own show independently with hopes of getting picked up by different carriers. I had not heard how that was going until this thread.

Dan Patrick is pretty good when he is discussing sports. Where guys like him and Mike & Mike go wrong is when they try to be comedians. They think that because their show is popular that people listen to them for their personalities and that's not it at all. We listen to them because they have the opportunity to interview certain guests and they discuss sports well. But Dan Patrick is not funny at all particularly when he has Reggie Miller and Charles Barkley on the air. I like Reggie and Charles but Dan is nothing but a distraction when they are on the air. Dan thinks he is clever and he just reminds me of that nerd in high school that was seeking approval and wanting to be popular but never was. He tries too hard to be funny and it shows.
