Kiper used to be a draft expert, but now he has a team of people who do everything for him.

Very poor work from two men who should be better.

This was pathetic.

They just forgot him. Kiper had to have forgotten him because he has him ranked at #16 on his big board.

McShay has him ranked #41, but had him #13 in his own mock.

Kiper used to be a draft expert, but now he has a team of people who do everything for him.

IMO, his process is as follows:

Put out a mock.
Get feedback from a few NFL contracts that he has.
Update mock based on feedback.
Put out updated mock.
Repeat
Repeat
Repeat

Nowhere in the process is Kiper actually watching game footage involved.

In the past I thought he had great recall because on TV they would ask him about some 7th round type player and he could spew out an analysis of that player. I later figured out that they cued him ahead of time on the question.l

I do not think they are "not fans".

I think they are incompetent. I can all but guarantee Beasley goes in the top ten.

yup....I've got him going to Washington @ #5........Either I'm an idiot or ESPN better give me a call. We'll find out soon enough:omg:

I like Mel Kiper because I think he is entertaining.

I've never really considered him an expert but he entertains me with his work and opinions and that's all I really care about from an ESPN source.

For evaluating players i'll choose my opinion over anyones and I think most people are like that.
