There are many opinions about how good, bad or average Roy Williams has been throughout his Cowboys career. This has been repeatedly discussed, but what if Williams had a great '08 season? Neither bad, average nor good, but a great, no-question-about-it, acknowledged-by-all, season playing strong safety.
In your opinion, would he finally vindicate himself as being a very good player despite how you viewed his past level of play (i.e. some were right about him all along and some have been equally wrong about him)? Or would you see his great season as solely being a by-product of Wade Phillips' scheme (i.e. Roy = system player whose talent didn't directly contribute to his great play in '08)? Or would you look upon his great season as pure luck (i.e. Roy = blind squirrel gets nut, yada yada yada)?
