Defensive end Anthony Spencer is inactive for the Cowboys’ game against the Rams. Spencer got 34 snaps last week against St. Louis, but he said he continues to have problems with the knee following arthroscopic surgery eight weeks ago at the start of training camp.
Without Spencer, the Cowboys are going with DeMarcus Ware and George Selvie as the defensive ends.
The other inactives are linebacker Ernie Sims, who is recovering from a groin injury, running back Joseph Randle, guard David Arkin, tackle Darrion Weems, tight end Andre Smith and new defensive end David Carter, signed this week.
Receiver Cole Beasley is active for the first time this season.
