Dez Bryant said there has been no slip in attitude this week as the Cowboys try to recover from a blown 23-point lead against the Packers, in a game that would have assured them a chance to play for the division in Week 17 had they won.

“None at all,” Bryant said. “What we have to do is, you’ve got to be real, and you’ve got to be honest with yourself. There’s nothing we can do about what’s happened in the past. All of that’s over. The good thing about it is, we still have a chance. That’s what we have to look forward to. I think that’s everybody’s attitude. We can’t focus on the past. We’ve got to worry about what’s going on right now, and that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”

Bryant is one of the players who took the loss the toughest. He left the field before the game was over because he didn’t want anyone to see him cry, he said.

Bryant, not fined or punished by the team for the walkout, said he doesn’t think the loss will linger.

“I haven’t really spoken to anybody, but I can just tell by everybody’s demeanor, in some way, it has to affect you in a good way to know you’ve got an opportunity to go out here and do something special,” he said. “I’ve been excited all week. The only thing I can think about is just having an opportunity to go out here and play, and hopefully we can get this W and prepare for the battle for the NFC East championship.”

If the Cowboys win at Washington on Sunday, they’ll get a chance to play for the division title at home next week against Philadelphia. If the Cowboys lose, they must have Philadelphia also lose (on Sunday night at home against Chicago) to have a chance at the division. If the Cowboys lose and Philadelphia wins, the Cowboys will be eliminated.
