Edgar Jones will be returning to familiar territory Sunday when the Dallas Cowboys square off at noon in Kansas City against the Chiefs.

Last year Jones led the Chiefs' special teams in tackles with seven and in fumble recoveries with two. He returned one of those fumbles for a touchdown against Tampa Bay on Oct. 14, 2012, while also becoming one of the Chiefs' most valuable special team players.

While Jones is now a special team perfomer, linebacker and defensive end for the Cowboys, he couldn't help but reminisce about his lone season with the Chiefs.

"They've got a good organization going on down there with (coach) Andy Reed,'' Jones said Wednesday. "And they’re doing things how they’re doing it out there.''

The 28-year old Jones then turned his attention to his current team.

"It's exciting about playing for the Cowboys, too,'' he said. "This is an organization that I’ve always loved.

"Since a little kid I've always been excited about the Cowboys, so being here I'm definitely excited
about it. But also it's just two great organizations playing against each other, so it should be a good game Sunday.''
